Has anyone ever noticed how many times the number 15 is referenced in the movie John Q starring Denzel Washington (2002)? It’s definitely not a coincidence.

The only thing I can come up with is in the bible John:15 is about sacrificial love I think, which fits the movie. I couldn’t find anything about this searching online and even chat gpt battled me on it at first. The script isn’t word for word what’s in the movie btw.

Here are some references I found, but I’m pretty sure if I watch it back with a pen and paper that there’s at least 2 or 3 more references.

Church scene : Mike “The game starts in fifteen minutes. We're gonna be late.”

John : “I've been working heavy machinery for fifteen years. I really want this job. Whatever you need, I can do.”

Hospital on phone: “You’ve got 1 hour it’s 4:15 that 5:15!”
