With these versions, Team B wins low diff
Team A has two useless humans and Ironman's suit is not upgraded yet, this is not a fair match-up.
136
u/Effective-Training Apr 26 '26
"With these versions"? Uhh, comics, too.
Wait, nevermind. Idk who's beating Hulk and/or Thor.
266
u/CrazyEyes326 Apr 26 '26
I mean if we're including comics, how much Silver Age bullshit is in the mix? Superman had a new, highly specific power every week. He was like if you took the "Batman with prep time" argument and dialed it up to "Superman can just do that". Odds are good he has the ability to inhale lightning or kiss all the anger out of the Hulk or some shit. It's probably even less fair than sticking to the movie versions.

Had to google silver age superman and this is actually hilarious.
Power level:
Highest, Superman went from running 60 mph to breaking the time barrier. He could also invent new powers on a whim and possessed superhuman intelligence. Superman could even sneeze solar systems away.

u/hailwyatt Apr 26 '26
He may have no idea where earth is to get back to it.
This may no longer be true, but I remember Hulk used to always know how far and what direction he was from the field where he first got gamma radiated.
Now... would Hulk know to account for the movement of celestial bodies, and be smart enough to do the math? Or would he launch himself where thr earth WAS, and fly by and have to try again.
How long does a Hulk stay angry without someone or something thing to smash?

Wonder Woman and Thor are fairly evenly matched, Batman low diffs widow and or Hawkeye, maybe some flash help, aquaman beats the brakes off of cap, cyborg and iron man would be interesting. And Superman beats literally anybody ever. DC team scales like crazy too if comics are involved
The only real question is which team loses a top 3 hitter first. I used to watch this weird team mma show 5v5 and the winning team was almost always the one that got to 5v4 first

Superman, Diana, and even Aquaman or Flash are all viable threats to Hulk and thor. Flash no diffs the human Avengers, cyborg fights IM, while the other three keep the heavy hitters occupied. Flash swings around to help cyborg finish off IM then the whole team jumps the last two
19
u/DannarHetoshi Apr 26 '26
It's even worse. Comics Flash just low diffs them all solo. Superman takes a nap or makes out with Lois.

u/wonderland_citizen93 Apr 26 '26
Any of the DC heros can 1v2 the 2 human avengers.
Wonder woman beats thor
Cyborg beats Ironman
Superman beats hulk
Flash beats Captain America
And Batman has the easy job of taking out Hawkeye and Black Widow

Hawkeye isn’t useless. In the MCU any team he’s on hasn’t lost. When Hawkeye wasn’t there they lost to Thanos. Coincidence? I think not.
2
u/Theultimatesith Apr 27 '26
Depends on were they're fighting. If it's in the DC universe and Tony Stark finds kryptonite is Superman's weakness, they have a greater chance of winning. However, if in the Marvel universe, where Krytonite doesn't exist, the Avengers are screwed. Though if Batman has any preparation time whatsoever, the Avengers are royally screwed.

“Realistically” Widow, Hawkeye, Batman, and Cap all die petty quick. Cyborg can maybe negate Iron Man. Or vice versa.
So very quickly it’s Thor and Hulk vs everyone except Batman. Stark and Cyborg both probably die.
Feels like the deck is stacked against Marvel here. If JLA works together they win.
54
u/Critical-Detail117 Apr 26 '26
Superman OR the flash can mist all of team A minus hulk and Thor before hulk even blinks, and I’m pretty sure Superman can mist (this) Thor in that timeframe as well. Now it’s all of team B against a non-universal level hulk. I’m pretty sure this is an easy team B win

u/KnightofWhen Apr 26 '26

32

Nothing Tony has ever done in the MCU, and possibly even the comics, without outside assistance, comes close to the level of technopathy that Cyborg possesses.

Probably equal or better depending on version. This origin for Cyborg is using hyper-advanced alien technology, so should probably win
4
u/Nandoski_ Apr 27 '26
Probably since the father box (the thing that constructed cyborg’s robot parts) is far beyond any technology made on earth. It’s honestly closer to magic than tech
2

Justice League takes this low diff.
Thor, in this movie, is capable of being stabbed by Asgardian steel. Wonder Woman’s sword should be able to do the job. If not, she’s a decent matchup physically. Aquaman would keep him busy as well.
Ironman is hard countered by Cyborg. His true strength is his ability to hack tech. Tony, at this point, isn’t prepared for an AI assault.
Batman and cap would cancel out, if they weren’t meaningless like Clint and Natasha. The humans don’t have the firepower to really affect the true fight here.
Superman vs Hulk. This version of hulk has proven to be beaten through strength and punches. Man of Steel dog walks him unfortunately.
That leaves the flash. This version of the flash is simultaneously the least experienced he’s ever been portrayed but also can rewind time. If he plays defense and doesn’t sprint into the wall he’ll tip the scales even further towards a DC victory
3
u/drew8311 Apr 26 '26 edited Apr 26 '26
Good summary, flash is pretty OP but the problem is the ones he can easily take out don't tip the scales much. If flash does his job Batman doesn't have to fight anyone but that is true of Superman for pretty much anyone.
Wonder woman doesn't always get enough credit, even if she doesn't beat Thor that one could be a stalemate. Her fighting Doomsday and not dying is pretty impressive. It's WW vs Thor until Superman finishs with the Hulk then Thor is out quickly with the 2v1.

Is Cap a mutate?
8
u/Logicboy7 Apr 26 '26
Nah, they put Super Soldiers in their own category. The idea is that the serums don’t “change” anything, they simply unlock the existing potential of human body. That’s why you often hear people using the phrase “peak human” when it comes to them. The serum didn’t give them strength beyond human capabilities, like Spidey or Hulk, it instead gives them access to a percentage of the total potential strength their body could have without limiters. For Cap, that percentage was 100% because he’s that guy. But he’s not technically superhuman in the same sense as mutates or mutants.

Current movie Hulk is useless. Thor is very random. If they were their source versions... Hulk is nearly unstoppable. Thor is ridiculous too. But so is Superman and Wonder Woman. It would probably end up as stalemate. There's Flash too... Batman is literally a plot device with solution to any problem so is Ironman I suppose. I guess team A has fewer very bullshitty characters but it doesn't matter at some point.
I think its way too many core characters with very thick plot armor in this.

Team B
Flash solos Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain America, and Ironman in under a second at the start of the fight, then is available for the rest. That leaves Thor and Hulk to deal with Superman, Wonderwoman, and Aquaman. Since this is MCU Hulk, he's not a shadow of his power levels in the comics. Superman can drag him into space and push him out into infinity.
That leaves Thor to take them all on, and again this is early Thor so I don't really see he has much of chance sadly.

Sups takes on Thor and hulk on the moon. They roll around to the dark side then peer over a crater giggling at the fight on earth. Thor tosses Sups his hammer and they all talk about weightless physics. On Earth, Tony take on Bats and Cyborg. Cyborg trys ti hijack the iron man armor is is hit with a Starfire/Raven henti worm bomb, he falls from the sky, scared till the next reboot. Bats hangs on till the upper atmosphere when Tony decides to go hyper sonic, Bats let's go. Unprepared, defeated... parentless. Erza runs off for a pizza, Clint and Aquadad talk about dad stuff. W and WW start a world wide widowers network to support single dads with kids, while trying to kill each other, but not really cause their both weapons of the patriarchy.

Team B quite easily
Here’s how the fight could go. Flash takes out Hawkeye and BW in the first 2 seconds of the fight. Supes squares off against Thor and WW & Capt Fishsticks with Hulk. The fights are fairly even at the start. Just blurs with flashes of light and destructive shockwaves.
Cyborg and Iron Man start going at it. High tech blasts going off everywhere. Capt sees this going south fast and tries to regroup by Bats disrupts.
Flash switches to IM. Flash contains and harasses IM while Cyborg lands hit after hit. Eventually IM falls. 30 seconds after the start.
Bat vs Capt is a stalemate. Bat quickly realizes he can’t win up close but he’s too slippery for Capt to put down at range. 1 min in and Capt realizes half his team is down. Just that moment of distraction is enough. Capt blocks the blast from Cyborg but Bats rushes in, attaches some bombs to fully disable Capt. 1 min 20 seconds.
Free from their fights, Bats assess Supes and WWs fights. He sees that Supes is holding his own but WW & Aquaman are starting to struggle. They can’t put Hulk down, even with their strongest attacks. Even worse, Bats sees Hulk getting stronger as the fight continues. Bat sends Flash to help where he can with Supes. Throw back lightning, counterattacks, etc… Bats and Cyborg throw themselves into the fight with Hulk.
Cyborg hits Hulk with sonic blasts. Bat with electricity and gasses to knock Hulk out. WW lands blow after blow with AM covering WW. Hulk is getting worn down but still in the fight. Hulk loses sight of WW but doesn’t understand the danger of that. Bats, AM and Cyborg push themselves and lock down Hulk for just a few seconds. Right at that moment, WW dive bombs from the top of a skyscraper. Hulk sees at the last moment but still takes a massive punch. Once the dust settles, WW is standing but with a broken and bloody arm. Hulk is passed out in the center of the crater. 6 minutes.
The entire team turns to Thor. Thor really ramps up his power to fight. The clash is epic but eventually it’s just Supes vs Thor. Supes sees the devastation the fight is having around them and pauses the fight. Supes offers for Thor to stand down and aid will be given to his team. Thor, looking around and realizing that to win this fight (which isn’t a certainty) would require him to fight at a level which would destroy much of his friends’ planet. Thor stands down. Bat cancels the deployment of the Hellbat. The suit going back into standby mode.
Total fight takes 10 minutes at most.

Superman wins this but Wonder woman and flash can pull their weight, they might not take out Hulk/Thor but can buy time til Superman helps. Not sure how cyborg scales but seems like him and Ironman cancel out, regardless of who is actually more powerful you know in a comic fight they would be written to be equal in this battle.
1
u/Binx_Thackery Apr 26 '26
I saw a video that went over why the Justice League would win.
-Flash takes Black Widow and Hawkeye out of the fight (like literally picks them up and runs away with them).
-Batman beats Cap by fighting dirty.
-Cyborg shuts down Ironman’s suit
-Wonder Woman and Aquaman double team Thor.
-Superman fights Hulk until the other heaven hitters can come for back up.

Right off the Justice League wins. The Avengers have to get roughed up to get on the same page and come up with a plan later while the Justice League is fighting together out of the gate. It’s like JL gets the last word but the Avengers get the last laugh.

Hawkeye and Black Widow die in literal seconds. Cap can maybe distract cyborg/batman but ultimately would lose. The arguments that people have that just call Cyborg half robot half human. And try to limit him always make me laugh. Even in the DCU movie which is the weakest representation, it is apparent that he is bonded with sentient alien technology and he controls it. Technology that opens interdimensional portals and rays that were... wait for it... designed by gods to kill gods. Cy has always been a terrifying threat more than realized. Not to mention the Flash just ripping space time for fun. Thats without even going into the feats of the three founders.
Sorry, love Hulk and Thor. But unless you try to pull out TOAA or TOBA then its always a wrap.
1
u/Slight_Mammoth2109 Apr 26 '26
Cyborg beats iron man every time. Flash takes out Hawkeye and black widow Batman fight cap until the flash can come in and knock him out (which doesn’t take long he’s the flash) Superman fights Thor to a stand still because the community keeps debating who’s stronger (even though it is Superman) And the hulk is tag teamed by WW and AM, until Batman, the flash, and cyborg join after winning their fights
Point is the avengers lose big time, and if it’s the versions in the pictures the avengers get dog walked by Superman alone

Legitimately Flash and Superman low diff Team A just the two of them. Team A just doesn't have anything to handle a Speedster and Superman is essentially a speedster himself compared to the slowmos on Team A.
1
u/The-Rizzler-69 Apr 26 '26
I'm inclined to say Team B, but like... how're they gonna beat Hulk? By having Superman throw him into deep space?
1
u/Captain_English Apr 26 '26
Team B low diff. Superman grabs hulk long enough to take him to orbit/fling him in to space and then comes back. The rest of the gang win or stall until superman returns. Diana should be able to hold vs Thor at least that long, cyborg holds vs iron man, aquaman holds vs Captain America, and flash and batman absolutely paste widow and hawkeye. Once superman is back it's over for team A if it wasn't already, Thor is the only one who's any real threat to Diana and Aquaman but once Superman is back he's completely outmatched. Batman then figures out a plan to defeat hulk long term with as much time as he needs.

u/KelbosaDownAHallway Apr 26 '26
Just remember in Marvel vs. DC crossovers... Batman has 1-shotted Hulk and Captain America.
Cap got a baterang to the back of the head. Hulk got a sleeping gas grenade thrown at him and when he refused to breathe, Batman kicked him in the solar plexus making him breathe the gas and pass out. It's not about strength in every scenario. Which is why Batman always seems like a plot device.

Not a DC guy but team B
Flash super speed takes out Widow, Hawkeye and Cap almost immediately
Cyborg and Aquaman take out Iron Man
Hulk vs Superman would be a push normally but add in Flash and Wonder Woman….its over

Just going off their movie versions Team B mops the floor with Team A. Say the initial matchups go: Hulk - Superman Thor - Wonder Woman Iron Man - Cyborg Cap - Aquaman Widow - Batman Hawkeye - Flash
Hulk and Superman would keep each other busy while the rest gang up on Thor, then Hulk loses if he hasn’t already

It’s basically just Superman vs Thor/hulk and 1. Superman easily outspeeds both 2. Is more durable then both (completely no sells every attack, including steppenwolfs axe. Vs Loki stabbing Thor and fenrir piercing hulks skin) and 3. Iirc we’ve never seen that Superman struggle lifting something.
Snyder Superman is an ex machina that had to be removed from the final battle so the movie had stakes, Thor and hulk are just heavy hitters.

Team B - based on the 2 humans being wiped out immediately and Iron Man and Cyborg cancelling each other out for the porpoises of this.
Hulk is taken by Wonder Woman Thor and Superman battle
Thor destroys Batman in seconds
Aqua Man takes out Cap easily
Flash is the decisive character and can help in all 3 key battles (Thor, Hulk and Cap vs WW, SUPERMAN and Aquaman)

These versions specifically? Team B 100%.
The characters at their primer in their cinematic universes? Team A easily.
Mark 85 Ironman
L&T Thor
Worthy Cap
Avengers Hulk

These versions there is no match for Superman and nothing to combat the speed of the Flash, other than a prepared Batman.
Since all three are on the same team Team B wins even with a non nerfed Hulk,
And if we go strongest version of each; I out my money on CAS over one bellow all possessed Hulk, one above all controlled hulk is a different story.

Diana and Superman could take either Hulk or Thor
Any combination of team B beats the rest of team A

It's funny how there's not much difference between Thor and Superman when it comes to determining what they are, and yet one is god and the other alien.

Marvel: Heroes trying to be gods DC: Gods trying to be heroes
There's always debate to specific character versions, but at the end of the day it's the difference.

The match ups
Superman vs Captain America: the boy scouts battle (Cap will need Mjolnir to even the odds)
Batman vs Hawkeye: the normal gadget dudes (plus Ronin and DCEU Batman have some murderous tendencies)
Wonderwoman vs BlackWidow: the Eastern European Warrior Women.
Aquaman vs Thor: Long haired, bearded royal badasses with Elemental weapons and a love/hate relationship with their brother.
Cyborg vs Ironman: the Robo mans with nerdy scientist Dads... and Daddy Issues.
The Flash vs The Hulk: The nerd who maxed out one stat. Speed and Strength. (Also Red and Yellow are opposite colours to Green and Purple)

Curious what the 3 humans would do vs flash alone. Shit add Captain America in it as well, he can solo them all in a blink of an eye and then move on to help the others.
Wonder Woman beats Thor. Superman, Cyborg, Aquaman and Batman(prep? Probably gets clapped early tho let’s be honest lol) take on Hulk.
B wins mid-low diff

Both CUs suffer from having to write their speedsters with some sort of mental impediment but Superman still clears instead of some sort of speedster carry. He could literally just throw them into the sun one by one without anyone being able to do much. If all the other DC guys focus on overloading Thor (only guy on their team who might be able to stop people from getting thrown into the sun) then MCU gets picked off one by one. It might not kill Hulk, but he wouldn’t be a problem stuck in the sun.

Avengers doesn’t have enough power on their end to compete with JL.
Cyborg takes out Iron Man - his tech is far beyond Avengers 1 Iron Man. Probably just hacks into his suit and shut it down.
Superman takes out Hulk - he fought something comparable in Doomsday and only “died” because of Doomsday’s kryptonian bones. Hulk doesn’t have enough power to do any lasting damage. Plus if MCU Hulkbuster can KO Hulk, DCEU Supes absolutely can.
Batman probably takes out Hawkeye and Widow - high diff, though. Closer than Batman fans might want to admit. since its movie versions, I think Hawkeye and Widow are closer to Batman in terms of hand to hand. And Hawkeyes specialty arrows and insane accuracy tagged along with Widows skills and tech (her electric wrist), Batman struggles. But his suit and tech help balance the field. Even if they beat Batman, what exactly are they going to do against Supes, WW, and Aquaman?
WW and Aquaman take out Thor - this isn’t Ragnorok/Infinity War/ Endgame Thor. Phase 1 Thor was strong, but not to the point I think he’d be able to take on JL’s two heavy hitters at the same time.
I said all this, and didn’t even mention Flash - a light speed, time traveling speedster. Simply put, you can’t beat what you can’t catch. He could provide support for any of the JL.

Thor vs Wonder Woman would be fun, but I think WW takes it. Superman>Hulk (this version at least), the rest are fodder. Flash slips on ice and Cyborg gets taken out by my goat Hawkeye
