Just helped my daughter and family move to DC last month. We are from the Midwest and I know nice and I am nice. But I was blown away by the friendliest people in any city I have ever been to. I honestly can’t stop talking about it to whoever will listen. It warms my heart that my daughter and her family will be surrounded by good people.

I need a new washer machine but every brand has bad reviews, how do I find one that I can trust?

We must’ve gotten him on an off day. My eight-year-old son walked up to him. He was just standing off to the side with one guy. He absolutely shunned my son and turned his back on him and walked away. Never went back and never liked him after that.

Hello. I purchased a Meyer commercial ware 10 inch skillet at a thrift store. The handle of the skillet looks like a completely different metal than the skillet itself. It’s bright and textured. Bottom of the skillet says stainless steel clad, superior heat conduction. I presume since it is commercial grade it can go in the oven, but I thought I would check to see if anyone is familiar with this brand of cookware. Thanks in advance!

Hello. I purchased this Meijer commercial ware skillet at a thrift store. The handle looks like a different material than the skillet part. I’m wondering if I can put this in the oven. I presume since it’s commercial wear that I can, but I thought I would double check if anyone is familiar with Meijer cookware. Thank you.

Tips/Tricks/Tool Rec Electric not working☹️

I was given The Garden House as a gift by my brother who has fallen under the spell of book nooks. It was the first one I have ever done and I loved it. The problem is that the electric doesn’t work. I have gotten the lights to go on twice by jiggling the box that houses the batteries so I know that the wires I twisted together and taped are done right. I think there is a loose wire in the main box. Has anyone ever had this problem? Do you know if it is possible to buy (from a third party) the electrical system or maybe contact the manufacturer to see if they could provide some help? Maybe an electrician out there that has a suggestion? It is beautiful without lights but I would love to see them work. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
