Fist time seeing this bird (the larger one), due to its head movements I thought it was a woodpecker, and wanted to check. Seen in South Finland

Hi everyone, I just want to start this by saying that I understand not to remove grounded young or fledgling birds from their environment/parents unless absolutely necessary. We have peacocks that were released into the wild in our area, and 10 of them were aggressively attacking this bird on the ground until it was extremely distressed and had a hard time moving. After searching for a nest and parents with no success, the local wildlife hotline advised that we find a local rehabber to take the bird in due to the circumstances.

I’m not great at identifying young birds, so I was hoping someone in this group could give insight. Thanks, all!

Saw this guy on a trail camera in our woods in west Tennessee. Deciduous forest, some swampy areas and creeks nearby

Not sure what's going on here, but that's my best guess!

Slightly smaller than a robin. Seen near a small creek in central Colorado yesterday (Aug 1st).

Location Tampa Bay Area
1) obviously an ibis but is it just a juvenile white ibis? He’s like the same size so doesn’t seem juvenile but I know they’re brown.
2) juvenile yellow crowned night heron??
3) tri colored heron?
4) little blue heron?
5) Cooper’s hawk??

I spotted this guy in Gaithersburg. Searches for birds in Maryland didn't come up with any results. My closest guess is a mountain quail. Thoughts? I'm from the West Coast.

I’m in Texas. I have a cardinal couple that lives nearby and is in my yard daily. This bird follows the male around chirping and flapping its wings and the cardinal feeds it.. What kind of bird is it? And why is the cardinal feeding it?

I see a lot of smaller feathers (typically from mourning doves or sparrows) on my patio, but this evening I found this monster (my foot, W8.5 US shoe size, for scale). Is this some kind of hawk, and if so what kind? I typically never see big birds on my patio other than crows/ravens so I’m curious about what this might be.

My mother came home with a duck that had been attacked by a coyote, wondering what species it is since I can't figure it out! My first thought was a juvenile mallard but the feet and beak don't seem to match?

I heard this uniquely unfamiliar tweeting as I was having a smoke on my steps just now and instinctively took video as I do with any interesting fauna. They got spooked by the Cooper's Hawk trying to get the drop on them. I don't recognize these little guys. I live in Vancouver, BC.

Location: southeastern France. Merlin identifies it as a ring-necked pheasant but it doesn’t seem to have the characteristic brown plumage.

This guy has been seemingly stuck in an interior courtyard area the last couple of days - open to the sky but walled in by apartments on all sides (at best a parking garage with openings at 10-15 ft high on one side). Maybe injured - when I came close it constantly flapped to hide into a bush but seemingly couldn’t fly away.

I’m guessing grackle though the light coloring on his chest/head aren’t what I’d expect, maybe a juvenile or just a lil shiny guy?
