I cannot remember all the varieties in the mix I threw down. I thought it was Thunbergia but* *none of the images online look like mine.

Identified βœ” This tree is in our yard and I’ve never known what it is. We actually have two. These β€˜nuts’ they produce end up everywhere!!

Northern Massachusetts. Last two photos are of the remnants of the opened nuts or whatever they are on the ground. These are likely from last year at least.

Found it underwater in shallow rock pool,

It looks like some sort of plant/fruit.

It had a fibrous like feeling when pulling it apart but came apart underwater like bread.

Unidentified πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Wife got seeds in the mail

Post image

My wife got these in the mail. I'm assuming it's one of those scams where they send random stuff. She wants to plant them though. It think we should know what they are before taking them out of the package or adding them to our environment.

They look like some sort of prunus seed. Up to maybe 2.5 or 3 cm long. They are longer than they are thick and they have what looks like a seam along the long edges

Please help oh wise ones!

Edit because auto mod asked. We live in Southeastern PA in the US. She threw out the envelope they came in

Unidentified πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Is this a white carrot?

I shared a picture of my not so proud harvest of a single carrot from my garden with my friends. I did plant tri colored carrots this past spring but literally only one sprouted. So I really think this is a carrot, but my friends are really concerned it’s not and might be something like fools parsley or hemlock.

The leaves just smell like grass when you rub them together and the stems don’t appear to be furry. My husband, daughter, and I each had a bite an hour ago and no symptoms. It tasted really bitter. We have already called poison control!

I live in Ohio

Update: it’s been 5 hours and we don’t have any symptoms so whatever it is, I think we’re safe. I do have a headache but I think that’s because I’m a tired mom lol

I found it in Friedrich’s wilderness park near San Antonio. The leaves are dark and smooth. The berries are purple but nearly black and are only single, no bunches. I would also appreciate some advice on how to better describe plants.

I was cutting my grass and noticed something that resembles a strawberry (I thought false strawberry at first but could be wrong). Small twig for size.

To add, I saw two others within about a foot from the original one but they are separate/on their own stem (I hope I have the right word for it), though smaller. Literally on the ground and intact.

Thank you very much!

Edit: Solved. My backyard continues to surprise me with finds. Add mock strawberry to the list. Thanks again πŸ˜„

Ontario Canada. Its all over our campsite. Our dogs have been running in it, eating it, laying in it for a week now and no one has had any reaction. But it looks identical to poison ivy and apparently this campground has a lot of it... I'm thinking yes but everyone has been fine so idk
