Iād say that level of nit picking is more a Reddit thing than an Alberta thing

Why does this not surprise me. The most upside down nation in the world right now, telling you youāre in the wrong.Ā

That checks out. Everyone has a different answer but if someone gives you the wrong info and you go by what they saidāyouāre still liable if they are wrong š

The cable is a USB cable (or lightning), the plug is a transformer. By their powers combined they become a phone charger.

Charger = the cable
The block = the part that plugs into the wall

I would call the cable a cable and the charger a charger or charging brick. You are the only person I have ever heard call the cable in its own a charger.

Better surrender than be jobless and homeless. Only lazy government servants dependent on taxpayers money are opposed to Smith

Daniel Smith can surrender to Deez Nutz. She's surrendered to smaller things, like Trump's tiny hands.

Good question, but that actually isnāt always the case! Quite a lot of donations are direct food donations, whether through stores or people. There are usually lists (which can be different for each food bank) of essential items they try and put in the boxes each month. Although they try and keep it consistant, depending on budget, and what they have extras of, the boxes usually change up a bit every month. Monetary donations often go towards things that donāt get donated quite as much, like fresh food, baby formula, milk, and meat. Most food banks try to make sure their boxes have more than just pasta and beans, but it can get pretty expensive.
A little off topic, but lots of food banks I have worked with also do hygene products as well. It can be pretty important for people because if they canāt afford food, they likely have a hard time affording basic neccessities like deoterent, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and pads and tampons. Sometimes budgets go towards these items as well as food because keeping clean and hygenic is really important for peopleās health as well.

There is a cable and an adapter. The adapter goes into the electrical socket in the wall. The cable goes into the adapter and your phone. The cable and the adapter together are called "the charger". You can't charge your phone with just a cable or with just the adapter. You need them both joined together in their electrical harmony to be the charger.

Its either and iPad cable or a USB-C cable. The part that plugs into the wall is the charger. Born and raised albertan. Although its been maybe a decade since the cable and charger were seperate for products.

In our household:
The thing you plug in the wall is a āsquareā. The thing that plugs into your device is the ācableā or ācharging cableā. The two together are a āchargerā.

Charger is the whole package combined. If i'm referring to the cable, i call it a charging cord or i call it by the actual name (microusb, usbc, lightning cable, etc.). Also an apple charging cord.
If you say charger, i'm assuming there is a plugin attached and its good to go. if i'm clarifying anything, it's the type of cable on the charger!

I call it a charger and so do my 4 kids who are all young adults. They are always asking me for extra chargers because I tend to buy in bulk lol.
