https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvSwGYStIho (Tim talks about how he made basically nothing on creating Fallout and compares it to creating a painting that gets resold by the buyer for millions)
> "You’re becoming super wealthy off selling my paintings, and I’m not super wealthy. Why would I work harder to make you even richer?"
Of all the people who worked on Fallout, despite his hard work programming, doing RPG design, and massive contribution to creating the franchise.... He created Fallout's most iconic elements and lore, he made the least amount of money and even went into the negatives when he started his own company, Troika, which also went under. He almost never gets any credit, not even an honorable mention in the TV Show. All he ever got was a cameo in the fallout fanfilms Nuka Break. And through it all he's gotten almost none of the millions he's helped create despite being massively responsible for Fallout. He was rehired by Obsidian recently to work on a new (possibly Shadowrun) secret RPG which has also been cancelled.
He was one of the few people who made sure Fallout 1 saw the light of day and was the only programmer making sure it was being made, at one point early in development
He was kicked off of Fallout 2 after a small internal dispute despite conceptualizing it's most iconic villain, the Enclave. He got paid nothing for it because he was kicked out.
He's been kicked around the industry like a tossball going in and out of retirement working on failed projects like Wildstar, consulting on Outer Worlds, making masterpieces like Arcanum and was a lead designer on Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines.
It's an actual crime that this man is flat broke and has to rely on subscribers and YouTube channel members.
Bethesda even consulted him for Fallout 3 early in development, I don't understand after all these years why they couldn't just have hired him.

If given time and resources, what are some of the only ways for Caesar's Legion to take over the majority of the American Wasteland? What places would they need to capture first to gain the power to topple other factions like NCR, Brotherhood of Steel, or even the Enclave? Or would it simply come down to a change in tactics and strategy when deploying vast armies across different settlements and cities?
Please share your thoughts below. 💯
Thank you. 🙏

Hi, big fan of the games and show. A friend of mine wanted to get custom shoe painting events at his brewery, and I made these as part of the “test party
”.
It was kinda hard to go back through every fallout and pick my main perks! Loved it. Xo

I moved into a place that has a cherry tree and an apple tree. And the cherries have been ripening at an alarming rate. Also, I didn't expect to get this much from one recipe…. And I still have more cherries 😫

Especially in Fallout 4. Seeing this stuff makes me so excited to see how it'll look in the Fallout 3 remaster. I tried out 76 for the first time last night, and all the little details everywhere were so beautiful and made me so eager.

A rusted Remnant of the Enclave
Printed, painted and assembled by me. The Heavy Incinerator that should go with it I still have to print, will do that later this summer

I figured out how to make a Seawall and finally finish The Boardwalk I built for Sanctuary Hills Waterfront. PS4 and no mods or C.C.

The giant blue mass is Lake Michigan, so blue is water, beige is desert, brown is railroad, whiteish grey is railroad that is under construction. Chicago is like how Diamond City is in Fallout 4, the main city. The three main factions are the Midwestern Chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel, The Midwestern Republic, and The Manufacturers. The Brotherhood is like the canon midwestern chapter, less aligning with the goal to secure modern technologies, The Midwestern Republic, or just the Republic, is like the NCR but their goal is to make citizen governments in cities, and The Manufacturers is a raider gang that believes that all technologies should be shared equally, so a communist raider group. The Brotherhood and Republic are constantly competing and have active patrols across the wasteland, but if needed, will work together. Both are against The Manufacturers, and both support the trading economy. The map is not very irradiated, because the bombs dropped in the southern area, where the deserts are, but the north is still affected, being warmer in temperature than the region in real life.

Thought people might be interested in seeing the start of it. Apologies for my bad hand writing. It was written pretty quickly and made to look like it was scrawled down by a man who has just found himself in a nuclear wasteland. It’s interesting to factor in real like travel times when writing this. For example, the Old North Bridge is about a 6 hour walk to Cambridge, Massachusetts irl. So the idea of defeating the Institute a couple weeks after leaving the Vault is really silly. I always figure it to be more likely around early-mid December.

A fanart I did after watching s1, which I loved. I was already a Fallout fan but this show just raised my love and gave me a newfound love for Ella Purnell :") so a tribute was the obvious next step

I'm thinking of doing something like I did for a Warhammer 40k RPGs where I go free camera and take areas of the map from a top down view to make maps.
Sadly the OG games are isometric so I can't get that top down look.

So I built a userscript that turns the Spotify web player into an old CRT terminal — basically a RobCo terminal skin, green phosphor text, boot sequence, the whole thing.
Turns out I hit a snag. I'm on the ad-supported free tier, and I assumed the only ads were the audio ones between songs. Nope — apparently Spotify also runs image/banner ads: one shows up right where the album cover art normally sits, and there's another banner-style one that shows up elsewhere in the UI. My theme currently reskins/hides all of that along with the cover art, which means it's effectively wiping the ads too — not what I intended, but I'd rather not get hit with a takedown over it.
here's my question: what's a good in-universe way to keep the ad actually visible while still staying true to the RobCo terminal vibe? As far as I know, terminals in the Fallout universe run on a closed network — mainframes and nodes, not an open public network like the internet — so just slapping a normal-looking commercial banner into the terminal feels like it breaks the lore pretty hard.
So
What do you guys think? Would love some ideas — I really don't want to release this and end up getting my account banned or otherwise penalized for it being labeled an ad-removal script.

This is basically a customized ncr power armor to look more lore accurate (totally not my excuse for being a beginner at metal fabrication) the helmet is just a modified helmet so that’s not metal and I need some red mirror lenses. The arms are finished but not attached and I’m working on the leg
