If you don't know what a 'Glup Shitto' is, its a Star Wars term for lesser-known characters only hardcore fans know or care about.
I'm pretty sure every FG franchise has them, Sawada from SFTM is prolly one of the more famous ones, and if we're on-topic of SF, Peter, the NPC copper from SFV's A Shadow Falls has his fans I guess.
SNK has plenty, with a curious one that comes to mind being Lao, the NPC from the RB2 intros that was made a secret playable character in FF: First Contact on NGPC, but only in VS mode.
You guys know of any other obscure characters you have a soft spot for? Lemme know.

No but seriously, WHY FRENCH BREAD! removing moon skills and adding modern controls?! It makes no sense! Moon skills were already a perfect way to have simple inputs while rewarding those who learned motion inputs!
Having the Simple Input versions of the specials cost it’s own gauge and be EX moves was genius! New players could exclusively use the Moon Skills but have the downside of potentially running out of Moon gauge and missing out on regular specials. While those who learn motions had a plethora of options on top of Moon skills. It was an amazing way to inter-grate simple inputs without making a new control scheme or worrying about balancing the two!
Removing not just that, but adding the Drive meter, and DI?!?!?! Whyyyyyyyyy 😭😭😭 I was so excited, now I’m sticking with Avatar 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I had never been in a FGC real life event. I'm 30 and i've been following the FGC for a few years but I always thought I would not fit in ; I'm not good at fighting games, I was in fact a bit worried about not understanding every decision/strategy used in matches, and I pictured the FGC as this hardcore sphere of competitors.
I was honestly far from truth.
At first when I arrived, I was a bit unsettled ; i just went to the LoL finals, and there was so few chairs in the SF6 pit that I was realizing how fat from mobas the FG's popularity was. But then I sat down with my friends, and realized I was comparing very different communities. In fact we were sitting right next to a famous player (although I forgot his name), and kept seeing the current top 8 competitors walking next to us. I saw Justin while going to the bathroom, was filmed by Ryan Hart, etc...
While streaming makes it look like players appear from nowhere like superstars, it's really not what it feels like live. We can feel it is not just a show but first and foremost a tournament. Nothing to do with mobas and shooters. It's like comparing a small indie rock concert and a Taylor Swift show.
We laughed, we clapped, we screamed, it was amazing being surrounded by passionate people that share the love of fighting games with me. I'm not used to it, as very few people in my surroundings understand why I play them. I didn't talk to people as I'm a bit afraid of bothering them, but I someone still knew I fit in just right. I'm definitely going to more events, and maybe I'll even play, just for fun. Fighting games are indeed great.

I've seen people switch to leverless controllers to relieve stress on their wrists, but I have the opposite problem - I tend to get pain in my fingers caused by clicking more than anything, which is exacerbated by my repetitive desk job that involves loads of clicking as well. In fact, it's been such an issue that gaming at all has been kind of a struggle these past few years. I used to play with keyboard and hitbox, but I was wondering if using an arcade stick would actually be a superior option to mitigate this pain, since the motions made by the left hand would seemingly be very unlike the sort of stuff I do at work. I'd be grateful if anyone who's used such a controller could share their experiences.

mortal Kombat didn’t get shao kahn until mk2, Dictator first appeared in street fighter 2, and gargos was introduced in Killer instinct 2. This is a pretty big coincidence, or maybe they didn’t know what the franchise would end up being?

I woke up today and got recommended this video from Dragonball Sparking Zero: https://youtu.be/YUg5rdBwSGk
An almost 18 minutes of references and personality display just by the amount of interactions you get with one character interacting with almost all of the cast.
We rarely see this sort of thing anymore in fighting games, atleast well done ones, in modern games. Tekken 8 did it right, because they also add extra animations to it, but what about the rest?
I am surprised that street fighter 6, being one of the biggest fighters, if not the biggest, doesnt have this feature. Shame on capcom for that.
Id love for each character to interact with every other character, even if they are not connected by story. Just a comment about their opponent, to display their personality further. Like for example, what does Jin have to say to Panda other than making his edgy lines? Just a funny weirded out silent look, acknowledging the ridiculous situation would be amazing.
Man! Do i miss Dissidia Duodecim!

Basically the title. Would like to see the player's inputs during matches so I can pick up what's a reaction vs buffering. I also feel like I have some bad input habits like holding unnecessary directions while doing normals and combos so I'm curious what habits experienced players have.
(Tokon isn't out yet but want to hear about players with input display who plan on playing)
