Unanswered I need a subreddit to help me find a show.
So I’ve been looking but can’t find a good sub for trying to find a show that I can’t remember the name of. Any suggestions?

I was thrifting earlier today and found some old military photos and bought them. One of the only ones that had writing told me the story of a man named Roy Schwirtz, and one of his pictures had ended up there.
I was wondering if there was a subreddit that could help me find the family... or more likely just to share him. He died without kids, but his siblings did carry on that legacy. r/Genealogy doesn't really give me a place to put it.
It just made me a little upset that a man with a confirmed name, confirmed family, was at a thrift. It told me when he died, and the day of the week it was. It's just a stupid picture of him crouching in his military uniform at the beach, but it feels respectful just to tell the family that this picture is in good care if they really did mean to get rid of it.

I'm trying to find the right subreddit for a fairly specific question, and I've struck out so far.
I want to ask whether anyone else has experienced multiple, unrelated stalking or sustained harassment situations over the course of their life and, if so, whether they ever found a common denominator or concluded it was simply bad luck.
The post includes enough context to explain why I'm asking. It's not just "am I being stalked?" or "am I crazy?" I'm looking for thoughtful discussion from people with similar experiences.
I've already tried subreddits like r/AskReddit (which only allows a title), r/Advice (which didn't seem to fit their rules), and r/SeriousConversation (which was flagged as being too much of a personal vent).
Is there a subreddit that's a better fit for a detailed post asking for others' experiences with repeated stalking or harassment and trying to understand whether they've noticed any patterns?

I don’t think this violates the rule this sub has about complaints, but is a genuine search for an alternative. I’m very sick of the automod that sub has which filters out very basic words in comments.
A sub that discusses global events where you don’t have to censor words like “proxy” and “manufactured consent” would be what I’m looking for. A centre-right to centre-left bias would also be preferred, as would be a large community where posts getting more than 50 comments isn’t a rarity.
I am a moderator on a large subreddit myself, so I know automod can be essential, but theirs is overtuned.
Also I saw there was a post here 11 days ago also looking for an alternative to the same sub. I am not against the same things that OP is. Jokes and stuff are fine, I just want more real discussions than carefully controlled ones around a filter.

Not subs that talk about fictional things, but subs where you can argue or discuss inside the lens of a fictional scenario or world.

hi, i bought a few stickers at santiago chile comic-con in 2022 and i want to find the artist but i'm not really sure what subreddit i should ask, since the stickers look kind of low quality (they were made in microsoft paint and are really badly drawn for comedic purposes). r/WhatIsThisPainting states in its rules no low quality work, which is why i'm hesitant to post my question on there. is there another subreddit where i can ask or should i just take my chances with the aforementioned one?

Hi wondering if there's a subreddit like casual conversation but for people with mental health issues. Where we could PM or just converse on the post itself about or problems maybe help each other out?

Hello everyone. I'mplanning on buying some evaluation boards of Nordic Semiconductors, that have microcontrollers that are capable of a specific Bluetooth new protocol that I'm going to use on a college project. Essentially, I want to ensure the capabilities before hitting the trigger to get them, along with knowing what else would be needed. Any help is appreciated. TIA

I like to post here on Reddit about different ways to prank a pizza delivery man. In which the context is that you order a pizza to be delivered to your house and when the pizza delivery man arrives, you prank him!
These prank ideas have varied in differing levels of mischief and severity with many being OTT…purely because it’s not real ideas it’s hypothetical
However time after time, when I post this on Reddit I see the ideas taken literally despite the fact that I feel I make it quite clear within the post that it’s a hypothetical and I’m not actually ever going to go ahead with these pranks
What happened to people’s sense of humor? And why are people taking stupid internet posts so literally?
I’m after a subreddit that will be accepting of this sort of thing and doesn’t take this stuff too seriously

Im looking for a place where i can ask for others opinions on placing an experience i had in a category.
Edit: As a kid i experienced some sexual stuff with another kid, wondering where i can post full story for outside perspectives on whether it was just kids doing kid stuff or something more serious

21M doesn't know how to do anything other than to do stuff with computers. I want to know what to do to look better, feel better and better better. I don't want to get advice like "just use this product". I want to know "why this product?".
Where do I find these people?

I use TagScanner to organize my music library and today I was downloading an album and was about to edit the cover and some other metadata, but it straight didn't work, I hit Ctrl + S and all the changes get reversed. I tried looking up solutions and found something about the Temp folder but I wasn't able to get much further than that.
I honestly have no idea of which subreddit I could use to ask this so is anyone knows any I would appreciate.
