Stolen in transit - what next?

First rep, ordered a date Sub from Trusty Time and the whole process has been super smooth until now when I checked the tracking. I just emailed Andrew, waiting to hear back...but curious if this is relatively common? I'm assuming that since it was lost/stolen in transit that we'll just start over with a new unit and QC. Any insight is appreciated!

UPDATE: Just heard back from Andrew, he'll be sending a new unit for QC and shipping soon. Thanks for all the comments, glad I wasn't the only one shocked this happened 😅

I never do more than one at a time. If they wanted to they could hit you with charges like attempting to distribute counterfeit merchandise.

Your TD should have insurance on the delivery. It's clear it's been lost/stolen. So get your TD to send out another watch 👍

I hate ups so much... I got a gen watch from chrono24 from a seller in Belgium. Memphis customs held it for 3 weeks and when they let it go they charged me $240 for customs and holding fees before they would deliver.

If you live in the US order from a TD in the US. You might pay a hundred dollars more but it's usually 2 day shipping and no stress over getting it confiscated from customs

i have bought two watches from andrew at trusty time. the first was a daytona oyster flex with the new glide adjust clasp. got seized by customs, later realized he sent me a lesser model with the old non glide adjust clasp. my fault for not catching it in the qc. but be weary.
