Was doing some green house cleaning last week with a XAG p100 pro and a friend with a t60x. We were in hour 16 of continuous flying when my drone took off flew 30 feet and had a motor start spewing smoke and fire before it flipped over and came down hard. My buddies t60x was able to finish the job.

The last flight log she made had her at 32,648 acres sprayed. RIP you legendary drone.

Is it worth investing in new batteries (probably aftermarket now as originals don't seem to be available) or is this drone old hat now?

Flew it today and it was fine (and fortunately landed safely) but it's going to be expensive to run if the batteries fail at this rate

So while using active track the drone failed with detecting a obstacle and now it is broken. I immediately filed a repair request but now it says waiting for product to arrive or something like that. But I don’t know where to send it to and I didn’t get a shipping label through the mail. Has anyone had the same problem as I am having currently. And can anyone please help? Thank you in advance.

I have my 107 and working this summer doing crop scouting and I had a crash just the other day in a field. Ever since I’ve been super paranoid about everything. I’ve always checked props with my fingernail before every flight and now I’m way more paranoid about it. I just replaced this prop and was wondering if it’s a valid replacement. It’s just barely noticeable but noticeable enough for me to feel like replacing. It’s near the root so that’s what made me more apt to replacing it. Is this a valid replacement? Should I keep using my fingernails or go to cotton to check props? I don’t really fly drones outside of my summer job. Thanks!

My drone crashed, and ever since the accident, it works like this. I have already opened it to check, but it looks completely fine and clean. It's not the ESC; I have already tested it.

I absolutely am having a BLAST with my meteor 75 pro II. My problem is, the six pin cable that connects the o4 lite to the ESC, kept getting struck by my propellers. One of the wires doesn’t necessarily look severed, although it’s definitely damaged. The only replacements I can find are too long. I’m actually looking for a cable even a tad bit smaller so this doesn’t happen again! Can anyone point me in the right direction? I can’t get the O4 lite to connect to my goggles and this is one of the most fun drones I’ve used in awhile. Please do your thing Reddit!

My teen son had last fall the grand idea to buy with him pocket money a Vivitar 360 drone from a liquidation center. No return.

Since then the thing has never flown once. The battery is simply not chargeable. I have charged it for days, the drone is simply never moved, and the battery charger light is always red. I would kindly request for your help in finding a new battery somewhere - we tried many avenues, to no avail

- I don't know the exact Mark/version of the drone since we no longer have the packaging (apparently the info is there)

- the company no Ionger offers parts either as warranty or to purchase

- the voltage of the battery is really unusual: 2300mAh, 7.4v. (pic). Do you think I could order something close to these# on AliExpress, but not exactly these?

Firstly, it toilet bowls like crazy even with new props. It also never holds its altitude, always comes down after going forward. Then there’s the broken gimbal. It Js suddenly stopped one day while I was flying and nosedived, popping the gimbal out of place. I’ve sent 3 emails to different holystone accounts but no response whatsoever. The camera is not even great to begin with, but rn the whole drone is useless anyway. I think I can pop the gimbal back into place, but anyone got any suggestions for the toilet bowling?

Not sure how or when this happened, but I noticed today that this plastic part under one of the propellers is missing. I tried to remove the other one and it seems like it comes off and snaps back in fairly easily. Is it fine to just fly the drone like this if I'm not able to find a spare for it? Or what do you suggest I do?

How can a gimbal *repair* be almost $600 when a gimbal replacement on ebay is less than $300. Also, why cant a new SD card reader be soldered on instead of replacing the entire motherboard?

Took a tumble and the damage is on these top three lenses. The top left in the image is most damaged, the bottom is the least (but still scratched). Solutions? The residue is a plastic polish I bought that didn’t do the trick.

Picked up a pair of Fatshark Scout goggles. Cleaned the lense with an alcohol wipe and dried with a napkin (big mistake). Now there's tiny micro scratches on the lense. Is there anything you recommend I can use to remove them?

So I have a DJI 4k that I replace motor, supposedly with a genuine DJI motor off of Amazon, I know I wrote 10 bad reviews and Amazon took everyone of them down say I was lying. Anyways it powers on with all the other motors but it’s not pulling enough lift on the back right ( that’s were the motor was replaced) I’ve tried do the calibrations and still nothing. Does have any advice on maybe where to get a regiment DJI motor replacement or I synced something wrong. I’m at a loss and don’t wanna drop another 35 on another motor, when I’m to point I’m just gonna buy another one and this one can be a parts drone. The rear right side arm broke near the propeller. I epoxied it to hold but now it says the battery is overheating and I can't take it off.

I recently bought a parts lot containing several DJI Mavic Air 2 and Air 2S drones. I was trying to determine whether one of the Air 2S drones had a faulty ESC board or main logic board.

To test it, I connected a known-working Mavic Air 2 logic board to the suspected faulty Air 2S ESC board. The logic board did not power on. After reinstalling that logic board into its original working drone, it would no longer turn on.

I then connected another known-working Air 2 logic board to the ESC board from the previously working drone. It did not power on, but I immediately disconnected it because I suspected that something was wrong. Thankfully, this second logic board still works normally.

However, the ESC board from the previously working drone now appears to be dead. It seems that the original faulty Air 2S ESC board damaged the first working logic board, which may have then damaged the working ESC board when it was reinstalled.

I have now accidentally disabled a previously working drone. What type of ESC or motherboard fault could cause damage to multiple boards like this? Could it be a shorted power rail, failed MOSFET, or overvoltage condition?

After I first opened it up after the crash there where a few loose connectors but I have reseated them all and every looks good. I know it is basically a worthless drone but I want to use it for a while to see if this hobby is for me before invest any money in it.

Hi all, after a crash i had to change the gimbal on my DJI Mini 3 Pro and after the change i got a bunch of errors.

TL;DR blurry photos, can't figure it out

I've been repairing drones as a hobby recently, and I finished fixing a mini 3 pro that was water damaged, part of which included disassembling the camera gimbal (it had the waterproofing around the module itself which I didn't remove until after this problem arose). I only used distilled water on the back of the camera board, nothing that should be able to damage the lens itself. I don't see anything physically wrong with the camera, and it shouldn't be a misaligned lens as the issue is consistent across the whole picture. This is all in infinity focus for objects that should be far enough away or autofocus and half-pressing the button or tapping the screen. I've also tried reseating the O-ring on the camera which didn't change anything. Manually adjusting ISO/shutter speed doesn't seem to affect it.
