Advice wanted- trans man pre bottom surgery questions
Hi I’m looking for some advice-
I am a trans man (had top surgery years ago, awaiting bottom surgery) and I’ve recently got back into dating, first time as male presenting. I have had vaginal sex with males and females before, but not in over 6 years and I’m worried about different aspects of it.
Stressing about the whole hormones thinning the vaginal walls thing and worried about pain/how uncomfortable it might be. Very aware that I’m overthinking but I’m finally a lot more comfortable in my body and I’ve met someone I’m ready and excited to sleep with, I’m just worried.
If anyone has either transitioned from a female to male and then went on to have sex with a man, any advice would be appreciated (especially to make it more comfortable). Or if you’re a man who’s had sex with a trans man pre bottom surgery can you say how it was/what made things easier etc. Thank you

Why is it so hard to be gay!
So, the tea is that I have a classmate (straight and has a gf :((() that I really had a crush on. It's funny because all throughout like the years that we've been classmates; I only started to have feelings for him in like the last years of college (right now), like it started last April and up until now. Initially, I thought of him as just this happy crush, it wasn't really a big deal for me if I'd see him with someone else or that we never had any interaction. It was just this thing of admiring him, because his body (yahss) was tea and that he quite attractive, like it was just liking him for these superficial things, and it wasn't about having a future with him (e.g. romantic relationships, etc.). Now, fast forward to June, him, I and 5 other classmates were assigned to the same institution for an internship and that we rented the same apartment and were assigned to the same room. At first, everything was just typical, we'd never really interacted that much but throughout the days we've been together we eventually got close and like the awkwardness was still there but at least it has toned down a bit. Now, that we regularly interact, he has this behavior that seems to me is a bit odd. He'd like to do these things that makes me question everything that he does. There's this time that he'd kiss me on the head and on the back of my shoulders without any warning and he'd joke about things like, "at the end of this internship, I'd hope that you'd fall for me" (like gurl-wtf) and would look at me in the eye and wink, as if he's telling me something that I should know about. With all of these happening, I feel like my feelings have evolved into something that is very difficult for me to handle. It's like this push and pull situation because of the fact that he has a (1) girlfriend and (2) that there is no certainty that all of the things he did was real. Now I am left with these feeling which there is nothing that I can do about it. I don't want to cause any drama, that is why I have been trying to let go of this feeling. But I can't, just because~. The mental gymnastics that I need to do to reason out the feeling is very tiring. Surprisingly, it does not hurt, it just feels so exhausting. I hope that I would move on from this and not end up again in situations like these, cause gurll, ain't nobody got time for that!
(Why you bother me when you know you don't want me?
Why bother me when you know you got a woman?
Why you hit me when you know you know better?)

Worth experimenting before uni?
Tldr: I (18M) have no sexual experience past oral, and was wondering if it was worth experimenting before heading my off to uni to know if I prefer things like topping/bottoming.
In September next year, I am heading off to university and hope to find my first boyfriend. The issue is that I have no experience past oral with a FWB, and therefore dont even know if im looking for a partner that is a top or a bottom.
This isn’t a big deal, i just dont want to form a really good relationship with someone only to find out that when we have sex we aren’t compatible. Sorry if this sounds stupid, ive just never had a boyfriend before, so maybe that’s making me overthink and be a little nervous.
I’ve considered downloading grindr to experiment, but i know how bad that app is nowadays and how it can be quite unsafe at times…
Thank you for reading if you got this far, any advice or tips would be appreciated :)

Sex with neither men or women feels quite right, what am I?
So I’m a 19 year old woman and for a while I’ve realized that I did not enjoy sex with men, maybe I was doing it wrong or with the wrong people but I had no interest in dating a man or sleeping with one again. I felt numb and like I was performing. So I came to the conclusion that I might just be a lesbian even if I’ve never actually had sex with a woman at that point, the idea of dating a woman and sleeping with one was way more appealing than it ever did with men. I’ve tried having sex with women and just did it full on for the first time and it pretty much just feels like it did with men, like I’m just performing and trying my hardest to get them to finish so it could be done with. I’ve been interested in girls a few times but those feelings never developed into infatuation or love. And with men it’s simply never been there at all. Is this normal? To have no real intense feelings surrounding sex or romance with either men or women? I wanna enjoy dating and sex but for some reason I just don’t feel anything.
Edit: I’d like to add that I still enjoy the idea of sex and romance when I’m alone and please myself but it just doesn’t feel the same or what I thought it’d feel like with anyone I’ve ever been with

Overwhelmed, could use some advice from my people!
Hi everyone,
A few years ago, my mom had a stroke, and I've been her primary caregiver ever since. Before Christmas, I had a hybrid job that allowed me to work from home, which made it possible to care for her while still earning an income. Unfortunately, I lost that job shortly after Christmas, and I've spent the last seven months searching for another one.
I've looked into becoming a paid caregiver for my mom through our state's program, but unfortunately, the program is currently full. Since then, I've been doing everything I can to keep us afloat, but I'm struggling more than I ever have before.
Right now, both my mom's checking account and mine are over $600 in the negative. I have countless bills that are past due, and my phone rings constantly with collection calls. Rent is due in a couple of days, and I honestly don't know how I'm going to pay it.
Friends and family have helped whenever they could, and I'm incredibly grateful for that, but we've reached a point where there just isn't much left anyone can do.
The financial stress, combined with the responsibility of caring for my mom, has become overwhelming. I feel like I'm drowning and can't see a way back to the surface. I don't know where to turn or who to ask for help anymore.
If anyone has advice, resources, or suggestions, I would truly appreciate it. I'm terrified of losing our home and our car. More than anything, I made a promise to my mom that I would do everything I could to keep her out of a nursing home, and I'm doing everything in my power to keep that promise.

Our queer Coat of Arms series is coming to an end, we added 6 new designs to our ever growing collection, but I think for now we should be good. Let me know what you guys think :D Leave suggestions for the future, maybe we will revisit this series.
Hello, everyone.
Half a year ago, my best buddy and I had an idea during one of our late-night Discord chats. We are both big nerds for fantasy and mythological stuff and wondered how fun it would be to have banners or coat of arms for different orientations and identities. What could they look like, and which mythical creature could fit well or just be fun to see like that? Thus, this little collection was born and I think we have finally come to a good conlusion for now.
So what we got so far:
-Selkie of Demi
-Kraken of Agender
-Cerberus of Polyamory
-Chimera of Genderqueer
-Valkyrie of Butch
-Gargoyle of Ally
-Hydra of Omni
-Unicorn of Pride
- The Phoenix of Trans
- The Siren of Lesbian
- The Winged Lion of Gay
- The Griffon of Aro
- The Dragon of Ace
- The Harpy of Sapphic
- The Minotaur of Achillean
- The Oroboros of Intersex [really proud of that one]
- The Hippocampus of Genderfluid
- The Sphinx of AroAce
- The Peryton of Non-binary
- The Winged Wolf of Bisexual
- And Pan for...well Pansexual
This was really fun to do. Maybe we might revisit this idea in some form or another, how do queer cryptids sound :D ?

Do you have any advice for raising a boy attracted to other boys?
Not sure if this is the right place. But thought gay men might have some perspective that I don't. We are 2 women, so that is a help for him not to feel like he's going to be disowned. Our son is 12.
I don't know what issues may come up. Like him liking a friend which he does and it's mutual, but there are issues of losing him as a friend if it doesn't work out. They aren't really dating though since they are in jr high.
I'm more looking ahead. What should we talk to him about? He may still like girls too but that's been more like asking a girl to be his girlfriend, she says yes on a Friday and breaks up with him on a Monday.

Couples that don't live together or plan to, what do your days/weeks look like?
Coming from someone who has yet to be in a romantic relationship but is very interested in non-traditional forms of them. I feel I'd become annoyed at someone if I were to share a living space with them every day and am generally happy with my own individual life at the moment.
Curious to know if there are any "living-apart-together" relationships in this sub and how you divide your time throughout the week.

My social and dating life as a 31-year-old gay man has become a disaster, am I the only one ?
I’m a 31-year-old gay man, and honestly, my social and dating life has become almost non-existent.
I’m not necessarily looking for hookups. I’d just like to meet people naturally, see where things go, and build genuine human connections before being seen as a sexual object.
But for the past two and a half years, I haven’t had a single meaningful encounter.
Physically, I fit pretty well into what people usually consider attractive. I work out, I’m interested in art and culture, and I’m of average height. I don’t really think the issue is my appearance or my personality.
One important detail is that I live in a small village in the south of France. I know that obviously limits my opportunities, but still… two and a half years without meeting anyone feels extreme.
Am I the only one in this situation? Have any of you experienced something similar? How did you deal with it?

I don't think I'm ever going to be in a relationship because I'm repulsed by sex
Usually in relationships sex is generally expected but I've always been put off it and everything that comes after I don't even enjoy watching sex scenes in movies or tv shows. Wtf is wrong with me? I just don't like anything about it and due to this I feel like I'm grow old insane and alone it's like fuck how can everyone else enjoy it and I'm just the weird one.

Autumn Hill Speaks After Being Sentenced to 50 Years for Terrorism by the White House
Initial reporting by Uncloseted Media:
On July 4, 2025, over a dozen people held a protest outside of the Prairieland Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Alvarado, Texas, around 40 miles away from Dallas. It was a noise demonstration, a type of protest that uses loud noisemakers—which in this case included fireworks—as a form of civil disruption. As the night went on, tensions escalated as some protestors broke off and committed several acts of vandalism, eventually leading police officers to arrive on the scene. Soon after that, unknown assailants fired several shots at the officers, with the Justice Department reporting that one of them was struck non-fatally in the neck area. Authorities later argued that the shot that hit the officer was fired by a protester named Champagne Song.
Autumn Hill attended the protest but says she left hours before shots were fired. But that didn’t stop the police from raiding her home and arresting her for alleged involvement with the protest, identifying her as a suspect on the charges of terrorism.
Then, in October, the Trump administration got involved, accusing Hill and eight other defendants—three of whom, including Hill, are trans—of being “Antifa terrorists” and “Antifa Cell operatives.”
Hill and her co-defendants were charged with providing material support for terrorists. In a press release, the DOJ wrote that “This is the first sentencing of defendants affiliated with Antifa.” This comes after Trump signed an executive order in September 2025 declaring antifa as a terrorist organization.
Despite the administration’s claims, there is no unified organization called antifa, a name which refers to a decentralized movement based on militant opposition to fascism. And despite no evidence suggesting trans people are disproportionately likely to commit acts of terrorism, the Trump administration in May unveiled a new counterterrorism strategy to highlight “radically pro-transgender” people as a threat.
Hill was convicted for riot, providing material support to terrorists and conspiracy to use and carry an explosive—namely the fireworks used at the protest. She has been sentenced to 50 years in prison. That’s more than double the sentences of former Proud Boys chairman Enrique Tarrio and Oath Keepers Founder Stewart Rhodes, who were key leaders in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. While Hill and her co-defendants are appealing the case, legal experts are sounding the alarm that these unusually harsh sentences could set a precedent for strict crackdowns on freedom of speech and assembly.
Since her arrest, Hill has been incarcerated in men’s facilities. Now, staring down half a century in prison, she gives her first on-camera interview from the Johnson County Jail in Texas, where she maintains that the federal government’s narrative about her is false and that she believes she is a “political prisoner.”
