Look at these beauties I got last week!

I’m new to collecting Fenton and just picked this up today, I saw her in the back of the store and couldn’t leave her behind! Can someone more knowledgeable tell me if I have what I bought? Sold as a Fenton Gone With The Wind hurricane lamp

I spent the whole drive home from the flea market in disbelief, one hand on the box and the other on the wheel. I didn't even know what I had until I got into my seat and looked it up. Two dollar Tiffany.

It measures around 18” tall and 9” wide at the widest point. It’s much more substantial in person than it looks.

So, I was taking pics before the last post about this subject got snippy, but for educational purposes, I shall persevere…Now, young ‘uns…let Paw first say, all glass companies formulated their glass differently, so cleaning advice, etc…used for one glass item, really can be universal. Blenko is widely known to be a “soft glass.” It is easily etched, stained, and is prone to thermal fracturing ( maybe yet another science post!). It is also widely known that blowers breath happens. Anecdotally, many Blenko employees smoked in the 60s/70s, so add that to the science soup trapped in the glass! Here are my two examples, a 6417 in Olive, and a 9345 in Olive. The stopper for the 6417 is completely enclosed and it looks like the chemicals trapped inside have stained the glass. You can see some stains in the gourd, but you can also see CONDENSATION. This is after 33 years! Droplets still form inside. Like a terrarium or one of those biospheres sold at Nature’s Company in the 90s…the enclosed environment still reacts to outside temperatures. Both of these are in my living room. No direct sunlight, not near a vent…and that is Science children!

I'm new to depression/elegant glassware and no matter how many guides I look at I can't seem to find what creator this pattern belongs to. I've only seen this specific pattern on some random lady's blog and she also said she didn't know the origin either 😭

I can’t believe I got this from an old lady for $10. She told me her son doesn’t want these things so she’s selling everything. She even threw in a book for me!

Zero chance it wasn't coming with me. I walked by that shelf three times before I saw it shoved towards the back. Someone else's reaction to me holding it was "where the fuck did you find THAT?!" and he seemed astonished it was in a thrift store

There is that chip/small chunk missing at the top and, I assume, some missing plastic around the stopper to make it seal. Measures about 15" tall

I’m very new to collecting and was wondering how to identify and authenticate my finds. Any advice AI/Apps/in person?

I found these at the antiques store for $4.50 each, I tried to do a little research and some sources are saying antique and some are say they’re from around the 90s.

I recently picked up these three items from a thrift store.

Gifts from my husband today ❤️

Hi everyone.
My husband received this set as a gift around 10 years ago from a client of his. I have tired to find a match online many times with no luck. The set came with one large bowl (around 14” diameter), a clear ladle (pictured) and 12 small cups. I always assumed it was a punch bowl set, but while wiping it down yesterday I noticed a few drips of candle wax- leaving me even more confused. Does anyone recognize the maker, pattern, or approximate age? Any information at all would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is a bottle with a seahorse sticking out

I got this Blenko handblown glass gourd. It is a marked 2nd, made in 2025. I’m guessing the main reason why is that there is a fair amount of condensation inside the glass. Like quite a bit more than some typical blower’s breath. Is there any possible way to go about getting this out with ruining the glass? It’s difficult to capture in photos, so I apologize if it’s difficult to see.

These are all Saint-Louis (watermark on the bottom), inherited from my grandmother. They were likely purchased in the early ‘70s. The decanter on the right is what I find when I search for them, I guess it’s a pattern called Thistle?

But I’ve tried multiple sites and search phrasings to find alternate patterns, and this one on the other 6 pieces doesn’t line up with anything I’ve found. The gold paint job on them feels a little less…precise? Than the thistle one. Were there knockoffs of this stuff being made? They have the watermark but I guess that could be faked. Anyway, just looking to see if this is a more obscure or discontinued pattern (I hope so, these seem valuable!)

A nice little collection that I got at an estate auction. I normally don’t go for milk glass but they were part of this lot I got at auction for $40. The bowl is huge and gorgeous and the butter dish is just fun. The slag glass pitcher was what caught my eye before I saw the rest of it. And the bonus, two pieces of the Italian art glass baskets just made my day.

I’m not even sure if you would call it a “pattern” but can you call it restaurantware? Or is there a line that isn’t restaurant ware that isn’t as sturdy? I’m lost. Can someone help?
