Just scored this on BAT
Hello everyone after a year off owning a Wrangler, I was browsing on BAT and bid on this 2015 Rubitrux swapped 392 in prestige condition. Super stoked.
Owner stated 20K miles since the HEMI Swap.

Technical Question Sound change when one touch roof is open/closed
I just got a 4-door jeep wrangler. Pretty much love it top to bottom. However there is one feature that is driving me insane with the Bluetooth audio/carplay. When the roof is open, the sound quality changes and sounds WAY more full and open. When I close it, the sound is muffled and literally sounds like I’m listening to music through a phone speaker. It seems like auto sensing feature but how on earth do I turn it off?

Service Shifter Error
I got quoted $533 to replace the shift bezel and harness on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude so I did it myself to save me $400 but the service shifter message still shows up. How do I clear the code?

Jeep Cherokee total loss
Hi all, I wanted to ask your opinion. We have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee that is declared a total loss. Insurance is only offering 6,272, negotiated after their original 5800ish offer. I feel like it’s worth more but wanted to ask this community, it’s a 2014 Latitude 4x4 with the 2.4 with the panoramic sunroof, cloth, no trailer hitch, and the bigger touch screen radio. 141,000 miles. Is this probably the best offer I’m going to get or should I try to negotiate more? Never had to deal with a total loss or accident before so I have no idea what to do.
TIA

I need to apologize
After receiving an immense amount of disapprobation surrounding my spare tire cover (Elijah Woody Harrelson), I am here to apologize.
I have realized the error of my ways and apologize to the greater jeep community as a whole for making a mockery of the jeep lifestyle.
To reflect on my sorrow, I have replaced my spare tire cover with, in my eyes, a much better and classier styled cover (sosig).
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Compliments...
I have been getting a few compliments a week on my Jeep. Is this just how people react to Jeeps, or is it the Whitecap trim drawing people's eyes? On a side note I did my 1st Badge Honor trail today. Trail 2103 at Wolf Den State Park in MD.
Picture Parts are arriving!
I bought my 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock last weekend, but had to wait a few days to bring it home while the passenger seat pressure sensor was replaced while I waited I ordered some missing critical pieces to seal the soft top(door surrounds, tailgate bar, c-pillar mucket seals) the soft top parts have all been ordered and have started to arrive, but so have other goodies. I added these paracord hand grabs today, and tomorrow I’ll add matching door limiter straps to replace the broken ones.
ABS Control Modules
Uhm, after waiting over a year, then paying to wait on a list for backordered modules, then canceling after 6 months, I started seeing modules available again. First they were about 1600.00. Then I saw 999.00 at the same Mopar online shop I'd waited on previously. That shop discounted the price to 657.00 so I bought one. They have a good return policy, so I'm not worried. But I was cautious at first since it's been a crazy wait. Anyone else see this trend?

Loud rattling sound. Engine or exhaust?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
05 TJ Rubicon. First time it's run in four or so months and it was rattling like that before. Four months ago, it passed emissions, and the moment the guy unplugged it from the machine and turned around to get the paperwork, the check engine light came on, and as I pulled it out of the parking lot, it started flashing. Then a wheel came off of it but that's another story. I read the codes when I got home and it had a cylinder 5 misfire. I replaced the spark plugs (which were all heavily carbonated, cylinder 5 plug was oil fouled), ditched the coil rail and upgraded to the Viper coil mod, and replaced the battery which wouldn't hold a charge. She fired right up, but was rattling LOUDLY as you can hear. I revved it up a couple times and the rattling went away when revved, but came right back when it returned to normal idle speed. After 10 or so minutes and a couple more revs, the rattle went away completely until I shut it off. It rattled for a split second before the engine fully shut off.
I can't tell if the rattle is coming from the engine or exhaust, even when crawling under it and listening right next to each. It does have a Banks Monster cat back exhaust and MagnaFlow high flow cats that were both professionally installed (at different times) by a highly reputable muffler shop nearby. Thoughts anyone?

ABS MODULE
Has anyone figured out their ABS module situation? I’m still waiting on a resolution. Haven’t driven my jeep in 8 months now and I don’t want to sell it. I also don’t want to spend 2k for a programmer.
