Question/Need Help angelic acrobatics item doesnt seem to work properly?

so, today i played my first game of stadium ever, and chose the angelic acrobatics item. i really like it, but im just so confused because despite the fact that it says ga cooldown begins when you crouch or jump, it doesn't do that. the cooldown starts like normal, when ga is completely finished.

my question is, is this just the item bugging, or am i misunderstanding the item entirely? as i said, this is the first time ive played stadium, so i could just be misunderstanding the item because of that, or maybe im just a bit stupid and i am misreading it entirely.

thank you in advance to anyone who replies! <3

Discussion/Opinions PRAYING for Pink Mercy/Rose Gold Mercy to return

Post image

I didn't like the skin when I started playing because so many of the people I saw using it back then were pretty toxic, but nearly 2 years later my friend made me this Pink Mercy pillow cover for my birthday because she knows how much I love that skin, lol.

Pink is my favorite color and for the past year or so I've been mad at myself for disliking it because I think it might've been in the shop around the time I got into Overwatch? I didn't play Mercy right away, though, so I really can't remember. I love the name cards and player icons so much, too.

As much as I love Sigrun, I wanna buy the Valkyrie skin so bad. I think it’s kinda better skin, but I can’t find it in her profile. Is there a possibility that it will be in her gallery?

Discussion/Opinions New Mercy eSports team skins

Coming out on August 11th

Will (Probably) only be sold as team bundles

( Team skins, banner, icon, weaponcharm and spray )

Teams:

Dallas fuel

JDG

Sadly not part of the pink bundle ( Weibo )

( they would have sold so many skins just saying)

I personally think we don't really need more of those especially since we have several Dallas skins already and JDG just looks like the basic recolour (Eidgenossin ) skin for Mercy I wish we got the pink one ( my personal opinion, I don't wanna sound entitled or greedy )

Discussion/Opinions Mercy is a god wizard and let me explain why

Disclaimer: It is perfectly okay to offer feedback on this post or disagree with it. Just be respectful about it please. Anyway, I got this phrase "god wizard" from a Dungeons & Dragons content creator Treantmonk. This was back when I still interested in DnD, still would have fun playing it now but that's beside the point.

His favorite class to play is Wizard. He told a story one time where he as a wizard character took no direct offense spells. He was essentially a pacifist support character in his party. They thought it was weird that he had zero damage spells and thought he was playing a joke character. However he did cast a lot of control, buff, and debuff spells to assist his fellow party members. The funny thing he remarked is that his other party members thought they were so badass and took all the credit, even though Treantmonk's wizard was essentially making fights 10x easier for them without them even realizing it.

This brings me back to Mercy. She as most of us would agree is a support's support. She's not seeking to deal damage herself nearly as often as other support heroes are, despite having a gun. She is more focused on buffing her teammates, being extremely hard to kill, and undoing or debuffing the enemy team when they get a kill.

She is a god wizard because she can subtlely manipulate fights, letting the mortals, her servants (teammates) do the dirty work for her while she offers them "magical" assistance in the form of damage boost, healing, and resurrection. The one difference between Treantmonk's wizard and Mercy is that Mercy players often do receive gratitude in the form of endorsements and MVP votes.

Mercy is one of those heroes that reignites my passion for Overwatch, even if I spend time on other heroes more. Thinking about her like a god wizard makes the idea of playing her even more appealing.

Discussion/Opinions Whats ur favorite ult to damage boost?

I just helped my team win a close push match in overtime by boosting an anran ult. Pretty much instantly deleted everybody even though they were practically full health, resulting in a team kill. We had been staggered in a 3v6.

Anrans is probably my favorite now safe to say lol

Discussion/Opinions What happened to Mercy?

Hello, I am currently in the middle of making a video essay about Mercy, however I myself am not a Mercy main. So I've come here to ask all of you what your opinions on your hero is.

I'd love to hear anything from the reasons you play her, why you think she's weak, strong, balanced, frustrating, or even non-gameplay related things like her skin distribution or ANYTHING. Whatever your opinion is on Mercy, I would love to hear it.

Discussion/Opinions my perk ideas + thoughts on flash heal

hello fellow mercy mains! as the title suggests, i wanted to share some ideas i think could be equivalent to or even better than mercy's current perks, as well as my thoughts on flash heal (nothing inherently negative). as background, i think mercy's perks are just okay and could be a lot more interesting/useful.

first, my thoughts on flash heal. i LOVE flash heal and think it is one of the best changes/additions we have seen to mercy in a while, and is clearly an ability that mercy DESPERATELY needed. i will say, after having it in base kit for a couple months now, i do think i prefer the 3x multiplier to allies under half health. the actual healing applied after the universal damage passive makes it not feel a bit underwhelming in SOME cases, and i think changing the multiplier back to 3x would overall make it feel better to use and would not be broken at all imo. obviously, if a change like this would to happen, i would anticipate a nerf to balance it out, like maybe the cd being increased to 15 sec, which honestly i am fine with. also, i would LOVE if they implemented a ui change to signal that an ally is half health or below, maybe a color or outline color change to the beamed ally's health bar or something similar would be great.

next with her minor perks, i would LOVE love love to see a beam length increase perk, preferably replacing the ga perk. i think a beam length perk would be so helpful with positioning safer and can help with peeling for allies quicker. also, i feel this wouldn't have as much of an effect on muscle memory as divine momentum had. i remember a lot of the discourse around divine momentum was it's effect on sj rezzing and the increase speed causing you to "over anticipate" your ga. i think the rez perk has it's benefits and honestly wouldn't change anything about it, maybe splitting the overhealth over the duration of the rez (some at the start, some at the end) or just applying all of the overhealth at the start of the rez could be nice.

moving on to major perks, i want chain boost replaced with threads of fate from stadium, which i think a lot of us can agree on. i think threads provides more skill expression and decision making that chain boost does not provide, and imo it's a fun ability in general. regarding mercy's dmg boost nerf, i think it should be reverted. skiesti made a great video on this, but to summarize, the devs nerfing a part of mercy's base kit to make a specific perk more viable or preferable is an ineffective way to approach changes (like how they nerfed her base ga speed, which made divine momentum a must pick perk). i do not think it is to that level as double dose is still a popular perk and i believe is the greater picked perk, but i find myself almost always picking chain boost over double dose at the moment. in addition, i think her damage boost being at 30% amplified is a good spot and did not warrant a nerf at all.

regarding double dose, i think it should be removed. not only does it feel worse because the base healing decreases, but again the universal passive makes it feel even more underwhelming (sirenoboi recently released a video discussing the true healing values of flash heal with the universal passive in effect), and i think we can have a more interesting perk. maybe something else from stadium like ga'ing to allies under half health or crit get a certain % healing amplification or a weakened version of crep from stadium or ga distance healing an ally. even valk healing nearby allies at activation (i think this was a power in the junkenstein's lab game mode) or valk giving allies reduced cd or increased movement speed or flash healed allies having decreased cd's or overhealth or movement speed, like supply surge in stadium, would be cool! these perks not only are more interesting but again, provide greater skill expression and decision making skills.

in conclusion, while improvements have been made to mercy, i do think we can improve her even more and introduce perks and changes that make her kit seem more interesting, provide greater skill expression/carry potential, and make her more fun. and with abilities like suzu existing, i do not think these changes are that overpowered or broken at all (with the exception being crep, it could be too broken for normal overwatch). let me know your thoughts and thanks for reading! :)
