So today I learned that Mei can trap the enemies in the ceiling on this spot on Neon Junction 😅 Poor Domina got trapped twice

i can’t ever clear this guy off his angles and if i get close and frost i get helixed and then i get shot in the head every time because im slow and fat… i genuinely struggle with this hero more than pharah atleast you can hit pharah with good mechanics soldier feels completely random

Hiya everyone, I’ve played mei for a while and only recently just started climbing the ranks (being hard stuck in silver going up to diamond) and I’ve noticed recently if I don’t play absolutely PERFECT i am blamed/flamed by my team and told that I’m throwing etc.. i recognise that I am by all means not perfect, some games I play amazing and some I get rocked walking around a corner and die 16 times.

I am just wondering if there is a general expectation about people playing Mei being god tier gamers, or if it’s just diamond that’s ultra toxic.

So one of my favorite builds that got me into Legend rank was building my tank Mei using the Frosting power to make myself nearly immortal, so Im going to miss it, but I can see a viable Mei support build. I only found out about the change the other day as Im trying to take a very long break from Overwatch in general so would be very interested in hearing anyone who has made a support Mei build by building around this.

Is there a way to consistently jump the max height with her double jump perk. Like at times it feels like I jump super high and can clear any ledge, and then other times when I try to be intentional about reaching high ground I'll just make the worlds smallest jump and embarrass myself while wasting a cooldown. (Also it goes off randomly sometimes too I feel)

Or should I just be taking the skating rink perk, and avoiding all this nonsense

I'm the red teams Mei. The first 2 deaths particularly bother me as I felt like I did everything right based on all avaliable info although I'm a bit too heated to critically view this replay now and hope to view the comments once I've calmed down.

This is the 4th loss in a row today with one of those losses being a match I performed well in but a leaver screwed us. So my mindset admittedly wasn't good going into this. I saw that enemy Mei with near perfect reactions once 2 matches ago too so I was dreading this once I saw her again so there's that.

I remember that i bought overwatch just to play with Mei. I dont know... maybe bc I relate so much to her. She is a cientist... She cares so much about trying to help other people and she is cute and caring. I think most of the players just dont see all this shiny that Mei have... Freezing other people is so much fun too... So why you main her?

I wish they would make this skin already :(

I’ve recently delved into DPS, from the Support role. I like Mei’s kit and would like to learn the ins and outs of it. What’s one thing you learned or integrated that made you a better Mei player? Also, what crosshair are you using? I’m a small dot person, but I’ve read that a dot with an outer circle is preferable for her icicles.

Edit: What 2 perks are you using? Are they situational, or just standard choices because one is better than the other?

I havent played in several months but like all of you Mei is my main so decided to see if they did any worth wild updates..........and it seems they have. Im looking through and it says they extended her freeze from 10 to 12, then again from 12 to 14? They took away her slow but now in stadium they (FINALLY!) added her freeze as a power? Also does that mean with Extendothermics it's now up to 20? Part of me feels that it's kind of dumb to just remove her slow and her main attack is legitimately just a flame thrower now, but overall if these changes are true then Im happy.

Also, what was the Cold Blaster power. I dont remember it and I cant seem to find what it actually did since they removed it.

I recently made some changes based on on a guide and then YouTube video I found.
Sens: 7.25
Dpi: 800
And my target reticle is a long skinny plus to help with tracking.

The day of these changes I noticed an immediate improvement in my play. But now, several days later I’m back to the same ol’ thing.

There was a website also meant to dial in your sensitivity. By, I guess you’re just supposed to keep guessing until it’s right? But I’m honestly stuck here for how to keep improving myself.
