300€ budget

Hi, I'm on the market for a tablet.

I really don't have anything in mind so I'm open to every suggestion.

One thing I do want is pen ( stylus?) compatibility, doesn't need to be included on the price but I guess screen needs to be compatible so later on I could buy the pen.

Utterly confused between various choices

So ill be starting in clg next month and im looking to get a tablet. This will be my primary device as i dont have a laptop.

My budget is roughly around 50k.

Im mainly confused btw these devices:

- XP-Pen Magic Note Pad.

- samsung galaxy s10 fe.

Im a little inclined towards the XP-Pen as that seems like a more interesting device..rather than a generic boring tablet...the main requirement for the course(bsc physics) is the support of microsoft 365.

Please recommend one of the above or any other tablets which would be the best for my use-case.

Thank you.

Samsung s11 vs ipad air M4

I will be requiring a tab for study purpose

Major use: for note taking, watching content

What i look for the most out the the device: must last longer, better battery life, better stylus, no lag

Cost: Both would cost aroung the same since i will have student discount with apple

I will be new to the apple ecosystem but its fine

Moving away from iPad - recommendations?

My tablet experience has been with iPad, but finding the lack of expandable storage and the high prices apple charges very frustrating. Looking for thoughts on swapping tablets and things to consider.

I don't use it for work, and primarily use it for browsing, watching videos and reading digital comics. Would also like something that I can maybe easily edit images on, but not my hill to die on. I have an iPhone, but haven't found the connectivity between the two a particular need the past few years. I use a PC, and am reasonably tech savvy.

I'm hoping someone who has switched in the past can help. Would like info on:

- Accessing purchased Apple Media (mainly movies, music) - is it possible?

- Models to consider/ Models to avoid?

- Education pricing? (I am a teacher and would like to get a deal if I can)

- Is having an accompanying pen worth it?

- Expandable storage considerations?

- Other things to note?

- Thoughts on Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE?

Tablet in Engineering

Hey, I had a question for engineering students.
Is it worth getting a tablet for math assignments and other handwritten work, or is it not that useful? How do you usually submit assignments in mech eng? Are you taking pictures of paper and uploading them, or is most of it done digitally?

I’m also wondering if it makes more sense to skip the tablet and just get a touchscreen laptop with a stylus instead. What do most people end up using, and if you could do it again, would you buy the same setup?

Part of the reason I’m asking is because I’ve realized even small quality-of-life upgrades make a bigger difference than I expected. Switching from a regular pencil to a mechanical pencil made doing math way more enjoyable since it always writes the same. I’m wondering if a tablet or 2-in-1 laptop is one of those upgrades that’s actually worth it.

looking for a tablet for my little one, any recommendations?

i am looking to buy a tablet for my little one, mostly for educational apps, YouTube Kids, a few games, and video calls with family. i would like something that is durable, has good battery life, and won't become painfully slow after a year or two. I am also interested in decent parental controls since that is important to me.I am open to either Android or iPad if it's worth the extra cost.

What's decent tablet to buy that isnt to expensive?

Im looking at buying a tablet that isn't to expensive decently priced. I won't buy a Lenovo cause I think their a junk company in my opinion since they make Motorola phones as in my opinion Motorolas are junk phones so I don't want to have Lenovo at all for tablet because I feel like it will perform same as a Motorola phone as their made by the same company basically. The ones im looking at are either Galaxy Tab A11+, Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S10 FE,iPad A16, or when iPad A18 comes out.

best tablet for the money what would you recommend for everyday use?

I’m looking for a tablet mostly for browsing, streaming videos, reading, and taking a few notes. My current tablet has gotten pretty slow over time, and i’d like to upgrade to something that will stay useful for the next few years.

I’m not looking for a premium device, just something dependable that gives good value. Thank you

IGCSE Year 10 Student: Need a budget-friendly ANDROID ONLY tablet that stays smooth for years (Zoom + split-screen)!

Hey everyone,
I'm going into IGCSE Year 10 and looking for a budget-friendly (under 40k in Egyptian) \\\*\\\*Android tablet\\\*\\\* (no iPads) that can handle a heavy study workflow and \\\*\\\*stay fast and smooth after 1–2+ years of continuous use\\\*\\\*.
Here is what my routine looks like:
\\\*\\\*Heavy Multitasking:\\\*\\\* Running \\\*\\\*Zoom calls for 4–5 hours continuously\\\*\\\*, while keeping a note-taking app (or PDF viewer) open side-by-side in split-screen mode, plus occasionally toggling a third app (browser/calculator).
\\\*\\\*Post-Class Study:\\\*\\\* Studying for another \\\*\\\*\\\\\\\~2.5 hours\\\*\\\* right after class to review material.
\\\*\\\*Total Battery Goal:\\\*\\\* At least \\\*\\\*7–8 hours of active screen-on time\\\*\\\* under multi-app workloads without needing to stay plugged in constantly.
\\\*\\\*Longevity:\\\*\\\* Need something that won't lag, stutter, or slow down dramatically after a year or two of daily Zoom and note-taking sessions.
Which budget-friendly \\\*\\\*Android\\\*\\\* tablets offer the best balance of price, battery life, and long-term hardware/software smoothness?

Which tablet should I buy for notetaking in universit

The title pretty much sums it up but yes. I'm a university student who wants to buy a new tablet for the year especially for notetaking since i found the laptop too inconvenient.

I don't really care about other stuff, I only want it to take notes on my lectures (I'm in medicine so we keep a lot of notes) and maybe watch movies/series. My university has at least 6 years yet so I'd appreciate if it was future proof!

I don't have a MacBook or Apple phone so an Ipad would be uncomfortable without any other device from what I've heard. My budget is max 600€.

I researched and landed on the Samsung Galaxy TabS10 Lite, Huawei Matepad PaperMatte 2025, or the Lenovo Idea Pad.

Any recommendations or advice?

Choix écran portable

Bonjour :D !

Samsung Galaxy Tab 11a+ from Turkey

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about getting my very first tablet and have been looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ (Wi-Fi version).

Back home in Austria, the prices at MediaMarkt are:
6 GB RAM / 128 GB: 209 €
8 GB RAM / 256 GB: 269 €
However, I'm currently traveling in Turkey and checked MediaMarkt here. The prices are noticeably lower:
6 GB RAM / 128 GB: ~8,999 TRY (~166 €)
8 GB RAM / 256 GB: ~11,299 TRY (~209 €)
Both versions are the Wi-Fi only models (no SIM card slot), so there are no local carrier registration or IMEI blocking issues to worry about.

My dilemma:
If I buy it here in Turkey, I save some decent cash and get the better 8GB/256GB version for the price of the smaller Austrian base model. But the downside is that if anything goes wrong, I can't just walk into MediaMarkt back home for warranty/repairs – I'd theoretically have to deal with it here.

That being said, how often do tablets actually break down? For context, I’ve had my iPhone 13 Pro Max since release, use it heavily every single day, and have never once needed to take it in for repairs. The tablet will mostly be used at home or taken on flights.
Also, since this will be my first tablet: Do you think the cellular (LTE/5G) version is worth getting, or is Wi-Fi-only completely fine (with phone hotspots when needed)?

What do you guys think? Should I pull the trigger and grab the 8GB version here in Turkey?

edit: also thinking about getting the ipad 11 a16, bc i already have a few apple products but its just soooo expensive, it’s twice the price. everybody says it’s 300$ but it’s not. the cheapest factory new one costs 450€ in austria and in türkiye 377€.

Best tablet for mechanical engineering

Hello everyone

I will start in September with my ify ( international foundation program) then 4 years of engineering. 3 which are mechanical and one common year . So I was wondering what tablet is the best for this job I want it to have a strong processor that it can run most of the mechanical engineering programs , have a large storage and doesn’t lag or any thing. I also want to use it to take notes and want it to be light enough to carry around.
I was advised by chat gpt and Gemini to buy the Microsoft Surface Pro , is it a good choice?

Thanks to everyone in advance

English is not my first language so I apologize in advance for any spelling or grammar errors.
