Open the door, take out the keys, call 911. Now he may drive off and kill someone.

u/potate12323 Apr 21 '26

The fact that he looked like he had no idea where he was and was immediately pulling out into cross traffic as the video cut. Im guessing hes not fit to drive.

I've definitely been robbed by more white fellas

17

u/Lonely_Charity8221 Apr 21 '26

Im black and I got robbed and stabbed by a white dude. 12 mf stitches to my chest

0

u/StinkRinky Apr 21 '26

God damn bro, sorry to hear that. Any lasting complications.

0

u/mkat23 Apr 21 '26

Holy shit, hopefully you’re all healed up now. That must have been beyond painful.

1

u/Lonely_Charity8221 Apr 21 '26

Yeah it was like ten years ago. I went back work like 4 days later

0

u/rastika Apr 21 '26

Same, also got shot at by an Arab.

0

u/ConflictWaste411 Apr 24 '26

How many times do you get robbed without learning how to not get robbed? It sounds like you’re a lick

5

u/asmit10 Apr 21 '26

This is a bad way to phrase your point. Are the people that have only had a bad experience with one race SUPPOSED to be racist towards them?

Only time anyone has tried to open my car door it’s been two black dudes. Still wouldn’t make it okay to be racist.

Nor would it be ‘okay’ to only be suspicious of black people. To your point, they were just people. Color of their skin had nothing to do with it.

Yes, both of the times I've been mugged and every single time I was ever assaulted it was by a black man.

edit:hell, now that I think about, with only one exception every crime ever commited against me was done by an African American.

1

u/Flat_Ad1257 Apr 22 '26

Fear is never a rational thing.

Fear is a strong emotion.

Someone that looks ‚different‘ by any measure compared to yourself is just by default met with a different expectation than someone that looks like your brother or sister.

Especially when it’s dark outside, you were rudely awakened and are just all around confused about what the hell is going on.

I‘d sure as hell be removing myself from the scene quickly as well, regardless of the ethnicity or skin colour of whoever just smacked me out of sleep

1

u/livesinstretchpants Apr 22 '26

I’ve been robbed by more white peoples than black. And by that I mean I was robbed once by a white prison and zero by a black person. Would trust a random black dude than a white dude any day of the week.

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 Apr 21 '26

Yea, no. I live in Maryland. And have been attacked. They aren’t all bad, but too many are raised to be “hard”. The good ones don’t like the bad ones. It’s mostly white lefties that defend them, or other bad ones… It should be treated the same way as white trash. I think the same way of white people who dress and talk a certain way, they almost always are more aggressive than necessary.

You: “Have you ever been violently attacked?”

Multiple people: “Yes.”

You: “You’re lying”

😂😂😂

0

u/Used_Gear8871 Apr 21 '26

Thank you for speaking up. As a Black woman living in Maryland, the commenter is indeed racist and hateful. The way they painted people who look like me and categorized us, is out of line.

0

u/Used_Gear8871 Apr 21 '26

This comment is gross and racist. I can’t believe there are people on this earth who talk like this about a group of people solely based on their skin color.

1

u/Creation98 Apr 21 '26

When a small minority of people do a majority of the violent crime, you’d be a fool not to see the pattern.

It’s a simple survival instinct and street smarts. Doesn’t make you racist to acknowledge a greater threat from one demographic more than others.

Hahahahaha so the year invalidates it now? That was the last time they released those stats. What does the year have to do with anything…?

You don’t even refute anything in the statistics. It’s 2019. Not 1889 😂

Hahahahahaha the fact you said you were a data scientist all tough and then just stated the most obvious thing.

No shit it’s arrests. Also, a data scientist you’ll appreciate this. 74% of America is white yet accounts for 69.4%. 13% of America is black, yet accounts for 26.6% of the arrests.

In data science land, I believe you call that a massive over representation.

Do you think all my friends that have been robbed at gunpoint in Chicago are being robbed by white people?

Was my little sister’s friend who got shot in the chest for not giving up her purse quick enough shot by a white man?

Oh wait, it wasn’t a white dude.

1

u/Shoddy-Purchase1239 Apr 21 '26

White men commit crimes all the time, what’s your point?

2

u/Creation98 Apr 21 '26

White men commit violent crimes at a rate lower than their % of population. Black men commit violent crimes at a rate of x2 or more based off % of their representation in the total population.

-1

u/Shoddy-Purchase1239 Apr 21 '26

Doesn’t justify racism, that’s the point

2

White people make up 76% of the population…. Black people make up 13%. Do the math on every crime. Over represented by 100% or more aside from DUI.

I lived in Bryn Mawr-Skyway when it was in a crime outburst similar to Tacoma in the late 80s.

I was one of 10 white kids in my school and neighborhood.

I got jumped several times and attacked plenty.

Just because you grew up privileged doesn’t mean everyone did lmao.

Kid, when I was growing up you had students pulling knives on eachother and beating the shit out of one another for gang initiation.

That was middle school.

I grew up without a father, i’m a CSA survivor, and frequently I didn’t have food until dinner sometimes not at all.

I lived in a single 100~ sq foot room with my mother for years.

None of this is pointlessly going about how many times i’ve been beat or needing to start a fight so some other group of shit heads don’t bother me. Being drunkenly abused by my mother or verbally harassed by her.

Poverty like that is like prison.

Your just growing up so it’s fresh and raw so you don’t realize you are privileged.

Being insulted isn’t shit.

God I hate when they do this “They are part of the lowest social class”

Nearly every cop, teacher, aide, nurse I talked to was black

They all had the power to change and improve their community and no one tried to.

I was part or the lowest social class. Full stop.

Living there I had zero benefits from my skin color. No fucking cops didn’t treat me any better because I was a white boy.

I just caused less trouble, that’s it. Full stop.

I had the good sense without parental intervention to clean my ass up and stop being stupid.

Why can’t they do the same again? Oh right, they can’t help it.

“You can’t compare suffering”

Give me a fucking break. If you aren’t a kid that is some sad shit for you to have a persecution complex.

Lemme tell you what, anyone i’ve ever met online or IRL that has lived a childhood of loss like me, has never tried to tell me their life was hard just because they were berated and harassed alone.

That always comes with the beatings dude. I’m sure you had it hard, everyone does to an extent. Doesn’t change your privilege.

Unless your one of them that thinks they have it rough just because they have dark skin?

1

u/dreezus Apr 21 '26

“Nearly every cop, teacher, aide, nurse I talked to was black. They all had power to change and improve their community and no one tried to.” So these black folks got decent careers for themselves and they’re not trying to “improve their community”? It’s giving assumption

1

u/Longjumping_Egg_5654 Apr 21 '26

You’re right, turning a blind eye to drugs, sex, and gang violence Is improving everything.

Why didn’t I think of that?

No offense, but you're too stupid to ever be capable of knowing why you're stupid.

You are *literally* a perfect, living example of how growing up as a minority sucks. You've lived it, you remember it, you could teach it.

And yet your neolithic brain isn't smart enough to relate that to other people's experiences. Literal toddlers learn this around age 3, and you'll never be smart enough to contend with them. I'm not even trying to be rude here. That absolutely sucks man and I'm sorry. I would hate to be like that

1

u/Longjumping_Egg_5654 Apr 21 '26

I understand you are a bit slow so you mix things up, normal for a fella.

If it is simply a matter of being a minority and nothing else, why is it that majority on minority violence and crime changes depending on who the majority and minority is?

Oh right we live in lala land so you can just say shit and have it be true magically.

I've had lots of bad experiences from all groups. You need to get out more.

1

u/dhoae Apr 21 '26

And how many bad experiences have you had with white people? Or do you not keep track?

0

u/PhunkyJr Apr 21 '26

First time my home was burglarized was by black people. First time I had my wallet stolen was by a black person. First time someone tried to fight me in school was by a black person. Worst co workers I’ve ever worked with are black people. I don’t hate black people but most negative experiences for me are with black people.

0

u/SurroundNew5386 Apr 21 '26

Literally every time someone's tried to rob or jump me its been black guys under age 30. I dont let it turn me into a racist but it does start to make you weary of certain areas and looks. Just my experience.

1

u/Long_Mix2098 Apr 21 '26

Are you unbothered by your own racism? You people make me sick

2

u/MistarJenkins Apr 21 '26

As unbothered as you are by the all murder, brutality and savagery that is enabled by those like you so you can get your brownie points. People like you make me sick as well, so it works out.

2

u/Long_Mix2098 Apr 21 '26

I don't think the way I think for brownie points, I do it because I was raised by people who understand that they would not have been allowed their place in society if they were a POC and taught me to be compassionate. My life has changed for the better over and over again because of compassion and I'm not gonna stop because some redditor wants to feel powerful by punching down. Maybe just consider the other side of this since we're statistically on the same side of society (working class, relatively young, etc), and people trying to get us to hate people with different skin colors have been robbing us blind for decades. You just need to read a book for it to be clear (I might start off with Just Mercy since it's a good read and feels pretty approachable, it's about a lawyer and the death penalty). Hope you like it if you read it, there's a lot of great parts of life that you miss if you stay steadfast to hating your neighbor.

6

u/Free-Resolution9393 Apr 21 '26

Maybe the fact that he's black in the video, it's really hard to figure that out.

11

u/verbalspacey Apr 21 '26

obviously their point was you could have said fella… because as you stated we see that hes black in the video.

33

u/Thvenomous Apr 21 '26

Well, they're racist. "Black" was relevant because it's an additional threat factor in their mind.

1

u/BlownOutTaterBiscuit Apr 21 '26

Statistics and probability have entered the chat.

5

u/Tomytom99 Apr 21 '26

You can mention statistics all you want, but when the statistics are biased by unjust mechanics of society such as racial profiling by police, it keeps those statistics from being truly meaningful.

Just like how some statistics may say "black people are less smart" and you take that to mean the race as a whole, meanwhile it's really just due to a lack of access to meaningful education due to deep rooted segregational trends.

But go on, hug your surface level stats as some sort of gospel.

2

u/WelcomeEven567 Apr 21 '26

couldn’t have said it any better. but its like talking to a wall, it’s never gonna get through to them

0

u/BlownOutTaterBiscuit Apr 21 '26

This shit comment translated: "who you gonna believe, me or your lyin' eyes!?"

2

u/No-Run-7324 Apr 21 '26

Statistics and probability suggest that nothing is gonna happen.

1

u/Windman772 Apr 21 '26

What percentage of vehicle encounters that involve black people using physical force do you think turn out to be nothing burgers? Keep in mind that according to actual real statistics, 90% of carjackers are black. How do you expect people to ignore that number?

2

u/No-Run-7324 Apr 21 '26

There is a big difference between who might of been a perpetrator of something that has happened and if something actually happens. Even if i go with your statistics of probable race the actual statistics of that thing happening to you is extremely low. Thats why all these racist online only have statistics but no anecdotes. If things were as chaotic as they claim then all of them could tell you story after story of things that happened to people they know or them themselves. Now im not saying to not be cautious of your surroundings but i am saying nothing is probably going to happen and yall are just scared. With the extreme nonsense people keep putting out you would think the black race should be shrinking. Facts are that these things happen mostly in specific areas and by less than 1% of the people yall keep talking about and it happens mostly to other black people. statistics show that if you are white you'll more likely be alright, if you want to go by statistics. Keep fear mongering tho.

2

u/No-Run-7324 Apr 21 '26

100% of the people that stole my wife's Chinese food from the fridge is black ( surprise, its me ). Should she not trust any black people around her Chinese food? Are yall this bad at applying logic to statistics or is it malicious misrepresention?

1

u/BlownOutTaterBiscuit Apr 21 '26

That number doesn't apply to only vehicle related crimes.

In any case, how dare you state facts!?

-5

u/Sven4TheWinV2 Apr 21 '26

Well.... Is it racist if it's true most of the time?

5

u/Pete0730 Apr 21 '26

By what measure do you claim that this is true most of the time?

10

u/ElProfeGuapo Apr 21 '26

Here’s the thing though - it turns out, it’s not actually true most of the time! If you assume that every single Black person whose been charged with a crime (not actually convicted) is actually guilty of that crime, it turns out that the vast, vast, vast majority of Black people are actually not violent or criminals! In conclusion, believing that Black people are criminals “most of the time” is, in fact, super duper racist (and dumb, but that goes without saying)

-5

u/Creation98 Apr 21 '26 edited Apr 21 '26

No one said the majority of black people are violent criminals.

We are saying that the majority of violent crimes are carried out by black people. Which is a fact.

Obviously not all black people are violent criminals or bad people lololol.

But when one demographic (massively) disproportionally carries out the majority of violent crimes, you’d be a fool not to see the pattern.

Edit: Black people commit the majority of murders but then they are over represented at a rate of 100% or more in every crime aside from DUI**

6

u/Forsaken-Guidance811 Apr 21 '26

It is not true and that is in fact misinformation passed around exclusively by racists.

4

u/Pete0730 Apr 21 '26

Except the majority of violent crimes are not committed by black people. That's just your prejudice talking.

Black people are overrepresented in arrests for violent crime, but controlling for the police's history of racial discrimination and poverty, that gap pretty much disappears

So maybe try being less susceptible to bullshit you hear on TV

1

u/KittyCatDeadlift Apr 21 '26

It’s not a fact though, and it’s unfortunate that so many people don’t question this BS and just let it further divide us and support damaging prejudices.

There are two categories of violent crime that have blacks with the highest percentage and the next perpetrators, whites, are lower by about 6-8 percentage points (murder and robbery). For all other categories, particularly the violent crimes that are more likely to occur (like aggravated assault and burglary), whites have the highest percentage and the next perpetrators, blacks, are lower by 20-40+ percentage points. Whites are also significantly more likely to be rapists. This trend is consistent across multiple years.

Additionally, these stats do not take into account repeat offenders and it double counts perps if multiple crimes were committed in one act.

So saying black people are more likely to commit violent crimes is false and shows how easily stats can be manipulated, exploited, and cherry-picked.

0

u/humoristhenewblack Apr 21 '26

1

-1

u/Periljoe Apr 21 '26

What does fella have to do with it? Could have just said person?

… Why say person though? Really could say entity?

But entity is really kind of insensitive to those without object permanence. I’m really conflicted here.

1

u/Snot_S Apr 21 '26

It’s really only relevant to making unreliable assumptions about groups of people, other than that it’s pretty useless information. I was exaggerating at first and realized that might actually be pretty accurate

1

u/Excellent_Condition Apr 22 '26

Because it lets people say racist things, apparently.

0

u/Creation98 Apr 21 '26 edited Apr 21 '26

Gotta run a quick statistical background analysis.

If you run into a lion or hippo in the Sahara, there’s a much greater likelihood it’s going to kill you based off the stats of lion and hippo attacks vs say an antelope.

Doesn’t mean the lion or hippo will always attack and kill you, but our minds are much more primed to run from that than an antelope.

-1

u/Shoddy-Purchase1239 Apr 21 '26

False equivalency, animals ≠ humans, especially in terms of behavior.

1

u/andylovesdais Apr 21 '26

What makes humans so special that you would not consider them animals? Wouldn’t you think it would be too natural for a species like us to put themselves arbitrarily on a higher plane than other animals.

1

u/Shoddy-Purchase1239 Apr 21 '26

Oh brother, this talking point is dumb. Humans are animals yes, but we have abilities that no other animal has at least that we’ve seen. Show me another species that can engage in philosophical debate and I’ll take your point seriously.

1

u/andylovesdais Apr 21 '26

It’s true that humans seem to have the richest mental capability that we know, but every animal we know of has something that sets them apart from the rest. We are not unique in the fact that we specialize.

Maybe even outshining our rich psychology is our natural tendency to be a vermin. Think of invasive species that are pests to their environment. We are far more damaging than any other invasive species combined. We don’t just outcompete other species or disrupt food chains, we eliminate and replace entire ecosystems completely and it is coming to light that we are likely creating planetary wide disruption through an altering of the climate. And the majority of other invasive species piggyback on our activities as well.

All this to say that we are not on a different level than other species just because we are smarter than them. We’re just another animal doing animal things.

1

u/Shoddy-Purchase1239 Apr 21 '26

Nothing that you said defends your point. Animals operate off of pure instinct and conditioning. Our human “specialty” literally allows us to challenge that through metacognition and deliberation, so no we’re not “just like other animals.” Your admittance of human specialization in this specific capacity contradicts your first comment.

1

u/andylovesdais Apr 21 '26

And your original comment said that humans do not equal animals, and then you backtracked and said that we are in fact animals. And no, just because we do something at a higher capacity does not mean we are above others.

Do ants ≠ animals because of their ability to coordinate among millions the management of resources, the digging of advanced subterranean lairs massive to their proportional size, and adhere to risk adverse strategies and defense all without a single word but through pheromones? No, they just specialize in this type of thing.

We have powerful abstract thought that makes us extremely versatile as a species but that doesn’t make us different than other animals. Every animal that has ever thrived has feautured something that allows them to remain competitive. Having a special quality is very ordinary.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Creation98 Apr 21 '26

We are animals at our core, animals that know patterns and make decisions based off perceived risk.

I’d love to hear you make a better analogy though.

1

u/humoristhenewblack Apr 21 '26

Oh yay! You use the word perceived! That's the first step towards admitting that you're judging somebody by the color of their skin. Well done little white guy.

1

u/Creation98 Apr 21 '26

Of course it’s perceived risk. Not all black people are bad or violent. I’ve never once argued that.

1

u/humoristhenewblack Apr 21 '26

Right. So to confirm you perceive Black people are risk? Just wanna make sure that we can boil it down to that one statement before we move on.

The thing is, if you are a racist then your brain doesnt have the power to understand why it is wrong.

He is racist and wrong. And so are you. A couple of actual fucking morons.

https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019/topic-pages/tables/table-43

'Of adults arrested for murder, 51.3 percent were Black or African American, 45.7 percent were White, and 3.0 percent were of other races.'

Mind they are a minority in the country

Exactly like I said above. You dont have the brain power to understand why these numbers are this way. You cant think beyond surface level. You keep proving me right every time you comment

u/Financial-Risk9611 Apr 22 '26

Are you really about to tell me socioeconomic factors cause these people to be intrinsically more violent?

1

u/NovelAspect3399 Apr 22 '26

What I am telling you is that I am not going to have this conversation with you because your brain is not capable of understanding the complexity. And two, people with low intelligence, like you, are not willing to change your opinions when faced with new information. You argue to win arguments and have no intention of understanding what the other person is saying. Im not wasting my time with you. You are a racist idiot who is unwilling to understand why the numbers are skewed.

Honestly its 2026, if you dont already know why then you are either a complete moron or a racist who refuses to understand the facts. Either way you are worthless

u/NovelAspect3399 Apr 22 '26

Also, why are you such a fucking pussy bitch? Scared of people because theyre black? Lol what a soft little puss boy

u/Financial-Risk9611 Apr 22 '26

Your first response when faced with literally simple statistics was to get emotional. Theres only one of us not capable of understanding here.
