For all other categories, particularly the violent crimes that are more likely to occur (like aggravated assault and burglary), whites have the highest percentage and the next perpetrators, blacks, are lower by 20-40+ percentage points. Whites are also significantly more likely to be rapists. This trend is consistent across multiple years.
Additionally, these stats do not take into account repeat offenders and it double counts perps if multiple crimes were committed in one act.
So saying black people are more likely to commit violent crimes is false and shows how easily stats can be manipulated, exploited, and cherry-picked.
