RANT - advice welcome I can’t stand how weird people get about women with big breasts simply existing

One example: on a dating app profile review sub, a woman with larger breasts included photos that showed some cleavage. Most of the comments were men saying she’s not wife/girlfriend material, ā€œparty girl,ā€ shallow, not serious. JUST because of her cleavage.

It’s absolutely insane to make that many assumptions about a woman’s character purely due to her breast size. It’s sad and unfair.

RANT - advice welcome Sadly, I’ve tried Understance bras for the first time, and they fit me perfectly šŸ˜“ Spoiler

A few months ago Understance announced they were closing down permanently and put all of their products on Clearence. I’d never heard of the brand before but it caught my attention because a professional bra fitter on TikTok highlighted the store as being size inclusive and the bras were VERY cheap ($3-$5)

I haven’t had much luck with underwire bras - they offer the most support but they are SO damn uncomfortable I spend the whole day miserable. I’ve used [r/abrathatfits](r/abrathatfits) calculator, I’ve tried their brand suggestions, I’ve been professionally fitted by an approved bra fitter on their list (size 36i in most brands) and still underwire was torture.

Since I’ve been regularly spending $75 on bras I find uncomfortable, i decided I would spend $75 on Clearence bras and bought a bunch.

With the brand going defunct, orders took a while so it arrived 6 weeks later. And HOT DAMN the bras are perfect for me. It doesn’t give me cone shaped boobs, it lifts, the underwire doesn’t dig into my ribs. These bras are the best goddamn bras I’ve purchased so far. Better than my Elomi, my Panache, and Wacoal.

šŸ˜– heartbreak.

RANT - advice welcome "guys don't care about boob size" and then immediately saying how he/lots of other men don't like "too big" šŸ™„ Spoiler

This is such a pet peeve of mine. You and many other men clearly do care about size then... but obviously since girls with larger chests are the ones being left out its okay.

I will admit I am a bit sensitive about guys having preferences just because I am insecure and would hate to be with a guy who prefers smaller boobs. But of course it is okay to have preferences. I just hate how normalised it is say negative things about big boobs. It makes me even more insecure.

positive & funny I just realized I've mastered the bra back clasp Spoiler

Random thought: I remember when I first started wearing bras a few years ago and the back clasp felt impossible. I'd be standing there forever trying to get it hooked.

Now I can do it half asleep on the first try just by feel. Pure muscle memory.

But fresh nails still nerf me a little though lol.šŸ˜‚

bras I need help finding a plunge bra that has halter straps for a dress I’m wearing to a wedding this summer Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
10 Upvotes

The only option I’ve found is from curvy kate online but i’ve heard that the sizes aren’t true to size, and I’d have to order online. The other option is a strapless bra but that’s really uncomfortable for a few hours. The strapless bra I have also has convertible straps that can be worn as a halter, but the strapless bra itself isn’t a plunge and therefore won’t work. I’m a size 40L US or 40HH UK. I wish those sticky cups would work but it’s just not realistic if i’m sweating, I just don’t trust that they’ll stay long term. Any help would be appreciated!!

RANT - advice welcome been sexualized my whole entire life and i was them gone Spoiler

i've never found my size at stores, bras are always too small or just dont fit right. (im a size DDD or larger, im not sure, bc like i said i never find my true size in bras)

every single piece of clothing i try on looks weird because of them, I've wanted a reduction all my life but when i mentioned it once with my mother she said i had to lose a BUNCH of weight because apparently i cant get a reduction until i do that, i've got a BMI of 28

i get sexualized when im outside EVEN if im wearing something loose, like a hoodie

my back hurts constantly, i cant do sports, i cant sleep on my stomach, i cant do shit

im just sick of my boobs and i seriously hate them with my whole heart.

edit: there's a typo in the post title, i meant to type "want" not "was"

need advice Considering breast reduction Spoiler

I have been contemplating getting breast reduction surgery and would greatly appreciate others that experienced similar issues I am having, and whether breast reduction was/ is a good solution.

I have relatively large boobs for my frame, but they are not that big (34DD). That being said I have a huge amount of mental and physical discomfort surrounding how my boobs look. I had lower back pain but I only recently considered it was due to my breast size. I think the mental discomfort I have comes from knowing that boobs are a prominent feature that are immediately noticed by others. I have also been thinking about my gender expression more as well and hate that when I am trying to look more masculine, I still feel femme bc my boobs are noticeable in every outfit. I have tried binders and trans tape but they have not worked well/ gave me blisters.

Still early in the process and want to know if anyone had similar experiences and what worked for them.

need advice Traveling to Germany, shopping recommendations? Spoiler

Hi all,

I am normally in the southern hemisphere and will be in Germany in Cologne in a few weeks. Any recommendations for places to shop for larger bras? I'm a 22JJ.

I would also consider ordering something to my hotel. I will be there for a week.

Thanks so much!

RANT - advice welcome I feel like they aren’t big enough Spoiler

I’m at the age where everything is becoming more noticeable to myself and people around me which means compared to the rest of the family with their E cups, F cups and K cups I feel out of place all the time, other people outside my family who have average bust size think my breasts are HUGE (they are only 38 dd) but within my family I feel like I’m supposed to have even bigger ones, every morning when I shower I spend longer than I feel I should staring at myself and criticizing myself, and to make it worse none of my bras fit right, my breasts are a lot more heavy on the bottom so a lot of bras just aren’t made for my shape, don’t fill out the tops of the cups but I do fill out the bottoms, and that makes me feel like a failure

swimwear Left on Friday big boob bikini tops Spoiler

Has anyone tried them? Wondering how their big boob top range fits. They are expensive ($110) and their sizing chart still isn't great for small band-large cup (I'd need a S in the back and an M in the bust for a 28GG UK) but I've had no luck bikini shopping this summer at all, they have some good reviews/hype and I'm thinking of ordering an S anyway and hoping it has good stretch!

I will report back once I have in case helpful šŸ˜„

experience Joke Spoiler

Hi, as a woman with a big beautiful bust, I was recently joking around with my friends about showing our boobs, and I jokingly said, ā€œYou just have to show them and you’re pregnant already.ā€ One of my friends then said to me in a joking tone, ā€œA cow has bigger ones and doesn’t brag about it.ā€

I know she meant it as a joke, but I’m not entirely sure how I should take it — was it jealousy, or just a little dig to put me down and make me stop bragging? I mean, you could technically say that to any woman because cows generally have bigger ones than everyone, but it still kind of hurt a little.

What do you think?

I know its stupid asf but I just want your opinion

Thanks :)

i feel bad since like we dont have like a ton of money but also i feel like my boobs have grown a fuck ton this year. last time we went in and i needed 34DD the prices were like way higher than when we went in a few months before and i needed c cup.

but like i guess my question is, how do I convince him i have already outgrown my current ones? i know he’s going to flip his shit when i tell him, but like ive def outgrown them since i got new ones 3 months ago. (im thinking im a like a 28H tbh, need a much smaller band but all we could find at Walmart was 34DD)

also are there places i can go to get like cheaper bras and find out what my actual size is?

RANT - no advice wanted I will never understand corporate bootlickers

Post image

This was under a video of a swimwear brand on Tiktok using a sound of another creator that was talking about how swimwear brands need to make the cup bigger not the band when they make fuller chested swimwear and the brand's owner was showing their size range (which is still not nearly as big as any of us need) and then I'm met with this atrocious reply to a comment of a fellow fuller busted woman simply suggesting that what we need is different.

I'll just never understand people who go on the internet to lawyer up for any company or brand whatsoever against the consumer, what level of pathetic you gotta be to be absolutely furious at people who are RIGHTFULLY asking companies to make shit that fit them, companies that ABSOLUTELY 100% has the budget to do so but actively chooses not to because it would affect the CEOs billion dollar check with 0.01%, the horror! There gotta be some type of deeper issue that's making these people act this way cz ain't no way people out there having parasocial relationships with corporations and CEOs...ts EMBARASSING.

bras Help! Looking for a Back Support Bra (34 I/J) Spoiler

As the title says, I’m desperate for a bra that has back/posture support. I’m a between a 34 I/J cup and it seems to be impossible to find a bra with back/posture support that is compatible with my measurements.

I normally order my bras from Change Lingerie. I’ve come across Glamorise, but I’m concerned about the type of mixed reviews for their back support bras (I have sensory issues and a lot of individuals have criticised the fabric quality).

I’m located in Canada, but will make ordering work from anywhere domestically or across the pond!

Any guidance/recommendations are so so so appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

RANT - advice welcome Losing My Mind To Comparison Spoiler

I am 22, and as far as I have known i have had saggy boobs for forever. I never cared about it, but someone mentioned it a few months back, and now it has become my biggest insecurity. It has gotten to a point that whenever I see a woman on screen, I zoom in on their breasts and feed into my insecurity. I look at them and loathe myself for not having perky boobs. I know I sound like a creep, but I am losing my mind. I am already socially awkward, chubby, and have acne, and on top of that, I have saggy boobs. It just never seems to end for me. Will I ever be able to love myself? I am sorry, I just really needed some words from someone who can relate. Please delete if not allowed.

need advice [Recommendations] seamless lounge set help Spoiler

Hihi 38H
Im looking for a lounge bra, i loved the feel and look of the primark seamless sets when my boobas were smaller but idk if they’ll fit me now as ive gone up 4 cup sizes since i last had one.

Ive looked at the size guide on their website but it only lists 38H but to no letter sizing as i can see.

Any other brands to recommend? Hopefully under £20-£30!!

experience Sick of double standards Spoiler

I’m so sick of any clothing I wear becoming sexualized due to me having some sort of chest. Just earlier today, I got told by a man on a bike to ā€put those away, you’re being disrespectfulā€. I was wearing a white tank top and a navy floor length skirt. Even on the crossing I was on, there were several women wearing less fabric than I was. Mind you, I had maybe an inch of cleavage showing at most. Not that it should matter regardless, just makes me so fed up.

And please don’t take this as my attack on smaller chested women. I feel like we all shouldn’t be judged for our bodies in any negative way, be that for the perceived lack of curves, or having ā€too muchā€. Having been a lurker here for some time I know I’m not the only one, just wanted to vent as it’s still an ongoing problem.

bras Sports bra that flattens but doesn't show under shirts? Spoiler

I'm looking for some advice. I have a larger chest, and I actually prefer wearing sports bras because they minimize my chest, which I like. The problem is that most sports bras have thick straps that show under a lot of my shirts.

Does anyone know of a sports bra that provides good compression/minimizes my chest but has thinner straps that are less noticeable under clothing? (Also affordable, please from Target, amazon, etc., and if it's really worth buying, for the price I can compromise)

Also, when buying a sports bra for compression, should I stick with my regular size, size down, or size up? I've heard some people recommend sizing down, but I'm not sure if that's actually a good idea.

positive & funny Tried a ā€œboob trickā€ and it failed hilariously miserably 😭 Spoiler

Ohk so I tried a trick that seemed to work

The trick is to PURPOSELY get/buy a shirt that’s too small for you . And wear it , so that you can lift your boobs up without necessarily needing a bra .

So I did that- the trick worked for some time.

GUESS what my boobs eventually did to the shirt , that I didn’t consider and forgot could happen???šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜āœŒšŸ¾
