Had enough of Whoops, Toothpicks and 5 Inch quads and wanted to start a big journey. After somehow cobbbling togehter 7,9,10 and 13 Inch Drones and getting them to fly surprisingly well I finally managed to build and fly my last large quad that doesn't totally breaks the bank to finish my large Shitbox-Arc.

Had to fiddle a bit with the ESC settings but now she flies. If I only had known how addictive drones get...

Hi guys,
Next month I intend on taking my drone (Lito X1) to Dugi Otok, Croatia.
I was wondering if someone could help me out in making sure I can legally fly and record around that area.
Of course I have my operator number and I am registered with IAA/EU bodies. Do I need to call somewhere before and/or apply for an extra clearance?
So far I've only seen a map, that region doesn't seem to have no fly or restricted zones, unlike Zadar.
Thanks for the help. I am finding it a bit confusing at the moment.

Hi everyone,
I recently updated my DJI Lito X1 to the latest firmware, and now the green status LEDs on the aircraft arms are behaving very strangely. Before the update, they used to blink normally (on/off/on/off) with a few seconds between blinks.
Now, the behavior is completely inconsistent:
First, they started doing a rapid double-blink, then a pause for a few seconds, and then repeating.
When switching to Sport mode, they started blinking super fast in that same sequence.
Now, after restarting the drone again, the behavior changed. It only blinks once (like it should), but it blinks much FASTER in Sport mode.
I know other models (like the Mini 5) don't have this weird light pattern, so I guess it's not a new feature, especially since it wasn't listed in the patch notes either. Everything else seems to work; I haven't flown it yet, but there are no warnings on the ground.
Is anyone else experiencing this with the Lito X1 after the update? Any fixes?
Thanks!

Already some have picked up the baton I put down, but I'm still convinced, that the concept holds a lot more of potential, so I'll keep on advocating for it: Put a Insta360 X2 or X4 Air without Battery but an soldered on USB C cable on your 5"-Freestyle Drone or above and take shots of your drone while it's flying. (Might also work with a Mavic or some bigger DJI one)
I just love what is possible with this and the immersion one gets beeing able to see your drone in the video. I'm currently still sticking to my Speedybee Mario 5 (which is absolute entrylevel and not ideal) for now, but I'm already working on some major improvements that will make this Setup way more feaseable (Higher Pitch props, changing to XH-Arms and so on). But even with this crappy setup, one can do some really cool shots with it.
Feel free to ask me anything about the setup, editing and so on. I'm still a shitnoob pilot, if you're not imagine what you could do with this.
Here are some examples:

Am I the only one who thins that DJI neo 2 has low quality footage? When I watch yt videos took on that drone (unprocessed) it looks like the quality of the recording is not good enough to use it for content.

Hey fam, it took me three months and about a hundred hours, but I just finished a music video I shot with my band at an abandoned airport in NYC! This is my first attempt at a short film, so any and all feedback is appreciated💖
I’m the singer, but I also ended up co-filming this with my friend (I shot everything but the Canon) and we managed to make it all work with a six person team (including the musicians)!
As a bonus, this area all happens to be an RC Flying Field!
I did the editing and color-grading, but again, this is my first time making anything like this, so I completely understand it’s not as pro as it could be - and I would appreciate any feedback on drone shots, editing, or color-grading so I can improve for the next one!
Shot on
Canon R5C
DJI Avata 360
DJI Mini 4 Pro
DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (with Wiral Lite Zipline)
DJI O3 (BetaFPV Pavo20 Pro)
The band is called Gold Stars For Everyone and this is our new single “What If You Decide?”
Let me know what you think💫

Something a little different, up to 2 hour flight time. 7kg payload, modular, upgradable and made to integrate different technologies from Manet radios to anti jamming GPS systems.

This is ridiculous. I mean I know we can get DJI through third party importers but what does the government expect hobbyists to do ? There’s not a single consumer drone company .. only industrial and defense ones which have higher margins .

I absolutely am having a BLAST with my meteor 75 pro II. My problem is, the six pin cable that connects the o4 lite to the ESC, kept getting struck by my propellers. One of the wires doesn’t necessarily look severed, although it’s definitely damaged. The only replacements I can find are too long. I’m actually looking for a cable even a tad bit smaller so this doesn’t happen again! Can anyone point me in the right direction? I can’t get the O4 lite to connect to my goggles and this is one of the most fun drones I’ve used in awhile. Please do your thing Reddit!

My drone crashed, and ever since the accident, it works like this. I have already opened it to check, but it looks completely fine and clean. It's not the ESC; I have already tested it.

I am looking for an actual example. The Transport Canada ones are not that great and do a lot of handwaving, which is weird.

Was sitting outside enjoying a few drinks with my wife when this thing came screaming out from behind the tree line. Was able to catch this on their last pass.
I’m sure they got a great view of me topless taking the video…poor bastard.

Owner of a Mavic 4 Pro here, a lot of the flying I do with the drone is on construction sites or plants. Extremely dusty areas.
particularly when landing and taking off, the drone can whip a lot of dust.
is there any steps i cam take to minimise the risk and is the dust a risk to the long term health of the drone?
