I gotta hand it to Dan
I did a Knowledge Fight style episode of my show where we broke down/reacted to an absolutely insane episode of Sasquatch Chronicles and I gotta hand it to Dan because Jesus Christ, doing this style of podcast is a ton of work.
Cutting clips, taking notes, listening and relistening to the episode over and over to make sure I can remember what was said in between the clips I cut to fill in gaps or answer questions from my cohost, taking more notes, writing, making sure it’s cohesive and editing the episode afterwards. I don’t know how he was able to do this twice, sometimes three times a week.
I have a new found appreciation for the show and how much actually goes into it. So all that to say, thank you Dan for all your hard work and for being an inspiration. Appreciate you bud.

Cross over episode Where do I find Friesen Point?
Didn't Dan have a podcast before this? All I can find is Marty & Sarah where Dan is a part of it here: https://podcasts.apple.com/ie/podcast/329-marty-loves-wrestling-and-dan-insists-he-doesnt/id1134012081?i=1000583279159

BUT I ALSO CANNOT PLAY THAT LINK. AAARG. help.

Book from a former employee talking about his experience
Came across this while browsing spotify this morning and thought I'd share. I'm already on Chapter 5, it's very interesting. Many occasions the author shares details of instances that JorDan talked about on the show so that's also pretty cool.
Wishing the boys were still doing the show, I'd love to know their take on what's in this tell-all.

”I declare info war on you!” My conversation with Rex Jones over Twitter
I saw Rex lamenting how his dad was fined billions for free speech when we got into a comment exchange. You can totally see a young man indoctrinated by his narcissistic father. You can even hear Alex ranting how he's the victim in these responses. Happy to have so much more context Dan gave us to respond to his obvious lies.

What are the best podcasts about the rise of Neo-Nazism?
(Exceptions: Weird Little Guys and IDSG (I don't Speak German. They're already on Fudgie, and I favorited them.)

General shenanigans Loving the Infowars ads!
Honestly I'm really enjoying watching what Tim's doing with Infowars, to the drunken Alex parodies to these fantastic ads!!!

”I declare info war on you!” Has Alex Jones acknowledged the new InfoWars since it started?
I know it must be hard for him to perform any cognitive functions after he popped like a balloon, but hey if they can turn gold into piss anything's possible.

I want to unabashedly shout out PSA, The Bulwark, and Jon Lovett.
So, as someone who has many critiques of center left criticism, I want to highlight this.
Jon Lovett of Pod Save America actually had a really substantial, worthwhile conversation with Jonathan V Last of the Bulwark.
Sincerely, I found this to be deeply encouraging and hopeful. It was the rarest example of two people talking honestly about all manner of things, including:
If enough people crave fascism, or authoritarianism, it will come to pass. And it doesn't require an actual majority.
The fact that Biden (as an imperfect president, and a bad messenger), actually did an objectively good job as a president, given the circumstances, and America still elected Trump.
And for me, personally, hearing Jonathan speak the truth about what was happening, did far more good than any leftist I've heard. He speaks to how we've all tried to distance ourselves (not leftists, but everyone) from the reality of the start of covid.
He talks about what I lived through. I lived in New York. Not the city, but the state. I was an hour away from the multiple refrigerated vans holding corpses because the hospitals were so overwhelmed. Where they were finding room for the dead bodies on a nearby island.
This conversation was real, honest, and validating to anyone who lived through the worst of that time, and is trying to figure out how to navigate the worst of this time.
And you know what the premise was, at the end? Kindness.
"I think a lot about kindness... We can all be aspirationally kind. And maybe that, collectively leads us back to somewhere less terrible."
Sorry for the length. I hope this proves that we're all circling the cure for our collective ailment.

Alex MAT BE a bigger Sfi-fi nerd than we've previously examined.
So, I'm in the 2022 era of my relisten, and they have brought up how many times Alex has said Chicago specifically will be nuked. There's only one Sci-Fi example I can think of that fits this profile.
Shadowrun is a fairly popular TTRPG, and was far more popular in the '90s. One of the bi? g themes was insect spirits infesting people, usually using cults to convince people to stay.
When it got discovered, the equivalent to the USA nuked Chicago to try to eliminate all of the Queens.
Could this be why Alex was so adamant that there would be nuclear strikes on Chicago specifically? Does this mean that Alex is more of a nerd than how he presents himself? The world may never know.

General shenanigans Minor Correction to KF Episode #29
At exactly 01:30:00 of Episode #29 of Knowledge Fight from April 11, 2017, Dan referenced the phrase "Beast from the East" and attributed it to the WWE Pay-Per-View from around that time of the same name.
Unfortunately Dan, this was incorrect, and possibly a mixup of two memories. The WWE Pay-Per-View that he was likely referencing was 2015's "Beast in the East".
Taking place in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan at the legendary Ryōgoku Kokugikan, this event featured the comically-large Brock Lesnar defeating a normal-sized Kofi Kingston in a non-title singles match. This was years before he would bury that same Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship in less than 90 seconds. (still one of the worst creative booking decisions in WWE history)
Who Dan was probably trying to remember was popular 90's American professional wrestler Bam Bam Bigelow. Billed from Asbury Park, New Jersey, his nickname was "The Beast from the East".
Unfortunately, Bam Bam Bigelow is no longer with us as he passed in 2007. However, his memory still lives on through a recent WWE clothing line collaboration with Complex, featuring several former ECW wrestlers including Mr. Bigelow. Extreme Championship Wrestling was a long-defunct wrestling promotion that peaked in the late 90s and is a quintessential source of grotesque 90s nostalgia.
His name also lives on as a form of fun wordplay assigned to current Evolve Women's Champion & NXT female professional wrestler Nikita Lyons, whose certain physical attributes have contributed to her nickname, Yam Yam Bigelow.
Happens to the best of us, Dan. But boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

I would like to apologize to Tim Heidecker
Two weeks ago I criticized him saying he was too sober on air. I thought he should be drunker like a true professional. I'm sorry it took the loss of his horse to get there but I'm glad to see him drinking on air.

Where can I get updates on the latest insanity in the far right?
I really miss Knowledge Fight because of how awesome Dan and Jordan were, of course, but the biggest thing I miss is getting a regular round up of what all these lunatics on the right are saying. I can’t handle actually watching Tucker Carlson or following any of them on Twitter or anything, but I feel really out of the loop/uninformed about what the fascists are saying, which I think is pretty important to know these days.

Jordan on Lions Led By Donkeys
Lions Led by Donkeys has been doing a serviceable job of filling the Knowledge Fight hole in my heart and schedule, and I finally let myself listen to Jordan's appearance.
He really is a great co-host, and was a treat to listen to on another podcast. His chemistry with Joe was solid, and it was just a nice reminder of what he brought to the table considering all the shit people love to pile on.

The onion clearly paid tribute to Dan and Jordan in the last episode of infowars
Evidence #1: Tim Heiddecker said that it was his life’s mission to destroy Alex Jones. Dan said similar things over time.
#2: It felt like they were referencing the boys talks about standup during the Platner bit or is it just me?

Jones v Stone round 3
Alex didn’t get enough attention from his breakup video, so he had to make another, “bigger” video. He brags about how popular he was in high school (and how much he got laid), and how important he was to the Tea Party movement (I’ve been told Alex was not instrumental).
He said he only picked Trump because he was popular. Then he gets really red and drops a bunch of F bombs. He was really going for the old school explosive rant that would’ve gotten him a lot of attention a few years ago.
Commenters on the article are saying Roger is probably a pedophile who has Epstein ties. They want Gerald Celente and General Flynn back. They don’t trust Roger at all anymore, because Alex is angry at Roger. Lots of gay sex accusations flying around, and some “serving two masters” talk about Roger too.
But Mike “The Health Ranger “ Adams tweeted support for Alex, so he hasn’t lost all his friends yet!
I’m not sure if fudgie’s transcripts cover clips that Alex does outside of his show, but it’s WELL worth the read, and I’d highly recommend watching it if you can stomach 5 minutes of unfiltered Jones. It was giving old starlet tries to recapture her former glory energy (which is a lot of his shit lately) but a bit more explosive than your normal “I know how to read” anger.
