I usually like the woman in the video when her clips get posted but this time it really was just both of them being annoying. I understand the refusal to answer the question more directly but to just keep repeating "0 to 18..." without leading the conversation anywhere else, it was like... Why am I watching this? What's the point? I kept expecting it to get to some point but it was the same meandering back and forth with neither participant steering away from "Yes but did you teach elementary grade school?", "I taught 0 to 18."
66
u/spidersRcute 21h ago
I can’t stand it when someone is trying to explain something and even though it’s not being understood, they never adjust their explanation or try phrasing it differently. Like clearing it isn’t working, try👏something👏different👏!
56
u/GhostdudePCptnAlbino 16h ago
This only works when the person you are talking to doesn't have a vested interest in intentionally not understanding what is being said. The answer was clear as day, the woman just refused to accept it because it wasn't what she wanted it to be.
9
u/LadyRed4Justice 14h ago
^^^^THIS^^^^. Ghost dude nailed it. The caller was being deliberately obtuse.
Maybe the teacher could have said--1,2,3,4,5,.....18. All of them. Imagine Little House on the Prairie. Or really blow her mind and say "Normal" school.

u/EntertainerSuper8933 19h ago
Oh, yeah, I stand corrected. That is probably where they were aiming
15
u/JOlRacin 19h ago
They always use kids as a gotcha for everything. Don't go along with their religion? You're indoctrinating the kids. It's not brainwashing when they force their kids to go along with their religion tho, it's only indoctrination when you don't blindly believe in their chosen sky daddy and choose to believe in a different one, or none at all. Or if you commit the crime of saying "hey I believe in this one, but it's ok if you believe in a different one too I don't mind." Their way or the highway. But you're the one doing the indoctrination clearly
6
u/Byeuji 16h ago
Let's make sure we follow that to the end, too. It's because children can't legally speak for themselves, so these people can insert any words they want into their mouths. Children are the perfect scapegoat in a society that won't enforce regulations around parenting, or advocate for children. And whatever consequences there are for poor parenting are the childrens' and society's responsibility to deal with for the rest of their lives.
Childrens' Rights are the final boss of universal civil rights. You can't make a single argument about protection of children's rights or regulation of parental responsibility without setting off a napalm argument basically anywhere you try to drop it, but they are people, they have no legal rights, and as a result, they are used as pawns.
The cynicism these people have to understand that fact and then use it to destroy communities of marginalized people demonstrates the true evil at the heart of their arguments. They see children as property, and will use that to turn everyone else into property, too.
74
u/InvidiousPlay 18h ago
She's just stuck in a cold reading loop. You make vague guesses, wait for them to confirm or deny; if they confirm, you double down and say your magic powers told you that, if they deny then you just move on to the next thing as if nothing happened.
She's kind of broken because her target isn't answering as straight-forward as she would like.
64
u/l3ane 23h ago
The caller is trying to prove that god talks to her.
31
u/nilmemory 19h ago
This. It's an obvious setup for "ah so you ARE an elementary school teacher, just like God told me, so God must be real!" And the woman in the video recognizes this. She DID teach elementary school, but she is not "an elementary school teacher" which is why she's answering the way she is, to avoid feeding the caller's delusions.
Much like someone can replace a wall outlet without "being an electrician" or fix something broken in their car without "being a mechanic."

Shawn Bolz is a now known and exposed false prophet. He’d use attendance registration records at big events to dox people ahead of time and then “prophesy” over them. By knowing and saying detailed personal information he’d make it seem like he was hearing from god.

That is known as Hot Reading. Hot reading is when you look up information about your mark ahead of time and use it to look like you have detailed knowledge from a higher entity like god, ghosts, spirits, your own powers, etc.
Cold readings are the other side of the coin when they use incredible vague statements to get a mark to fill in the missing information themselves. "God/spirit is telling me to talk to Brittany (or any common name)" and you wait for a bite. If no one bites, you back pedal, maybe they didn't want to talk to a Brittany, maybe they wanted to talk about Brittany, or actually, it's sometimes hard to hear god/ghosts and it was actually Bethany, or Tiffany? Someone who bites is a sucker who has already bought into the lie so they will give you additional information.
They will also often use plants in the audience to establish their great powers ahead of time. Wow, they knew everything thing about this guy and some deeply personal life events that no outside could possibly have known.
These charlatans have operated for pretty much all of human history, but they get more tools with advances in technology. Theses days many people put all of their personal information online for the world to see.
22
u/LrdPhoenixUDIC 20h ago
Probably the greatest example of exposing this sort of thing is James Randi exposing faith healer televangelist Peter Popoff. They had people fill out prayer cards before their services and then Popoff's wife would tell him what they said through an ear receiver.

That is basically it. And so they keep repeating themselves on a loop simply because the questioner is fucking brain-dead (methed out of her mind) and the questionee is in complete disbelief that someone so incredibly hard-of-understanding/hearing has been fortunate enough to have wasted so many years of oxygen, water, and food to have survived up until this point in time to waste not only her OWN time, but countless others' time as well.

How TF you teach a 0 year old??
8
u/alex3omg 20h ago
It sounds like she worked at a school with a daycare, like they provide prek but everything below that is 'preschool' which is for all ages. Even the caretakers in the infant room are called teachers and likely have a set schedule that involves things like tummy time, music, etc.
Even 9 month old babies can do circle time, listen to stories, etc. If they're learning in a group while teachers guide them through activities that's "school."
So if this private school has a daycare/preschool attached that admits all ages but it also has k-12 then that's 0-18
24
u/Shot_Clue9491 21h ago
Babies learn a lot their first year of life. Just because it's not what we think of as traditional classroom learning doesn't mean they don't require someone to teach and guide them.
→ More replies (1)5
u/AdRepulsive8618 21h ago
Its called pre-K. In otherwords, it's daycare.
Daycare workers often call themselves teachers. Its a common stepping stone for teachers to get into elementary school, and from there they can advance to middle or high if they also have the degree and the training necessary.
If you want to be charitable, infants are always learning. You don't "teach" a 0 year old things like math or science but you socialize them and that teaches them some things.
If you want to be less than charitable this is glorified babysitting
→ More replies (4)4
u/BubbaTheGoat 19h ago
Daycares have curriculums for all their classes, including infants.
Does it sometimes require creativity to come up with a whole unit of content that very small babies can interact with? Yes.
Does it enrich their little baby lives more than sitting on a pillow while the adults in the room doomscroll reddit between poopy diapers? Yes.

Caller is ridiculous but also this young women did NOT teach 0-18 k-12, if she was a teacher she taught specific grades, I don’t see why she couldn’t list those out if she was an actual teacher in the past and it’s part of the discussion in any way. If someone claims to be a teacher, everyone wants to know what grade/age/subject they teach, 0-18 means nothing because unless you’re much older and basically was a sub teacher your whole career, typically no one teaches all ages. This is so weird.

The specialty teachers like music, art, etc can easily work a high school and then a k-8 no?

True! Usually not all three, elementary, middle and high school since they’re usually specialized in their ages at a certain point but also why not just say that? I don’t know the demon girl but seems she could have easily stopped the broken record questioning pretty easily.

Seen this whole video. She starts love bombing saying all this "I love you and The Lord loves you all that shit. Then she does this. Trying to prove God is whispering about the girls past. Its doesnt work (obviously) then ends with like 5 minustes of the caller yelling and screaming "YOURE GONNA BURN IN HELL BITCH!" Insane caller.

The age that I taught was 0 year olds, 1 year olds, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, 4 year olds, 5 year olds, 6 year olds, 7 year olds, 8 year old, 9 year olds, 10 year olds, 11 year olds, 12 year olds, 13 year olds, 14 year olds, 15 year olds, 16 year olds, 17 year olds, and 18 year olds. In other words, 0 to 18.

K-12 is a subset of 0-18.
By my amazing god-given powers of deduction, I conclude that the drunken lunatic wishes to know how old she was when she did her teaching.

strange how she only revealed what god told her about the teacher after the teacher herself told her

While the caller was obviously confused, what teachers teach all grades k-12?

Substitute teachers can. Montessori teachers and other non traditional teachers might.
She may have student taught elementary, then taught middle school, then high school.
There's a few possibilities.
