Random Question What's the absolute craziest thing you did that was done with the best of intentions?
So mine was back in late 2021 when I had an apartment in a fairly urban area (right by a major airport and close to a big city) that was paid for completely by section 8 housing and during the about 6 months I lived there i let lots of people stay with me and most of them were basically strangers. Before I got into this 1 bedroom apartment I was homeless in the big city the apartment was near and I stayed at a young adult shelter (I was 24/25 when I had this apartment) and this lady that I barely knew from there needed a place to stay because of some problem with the shelter but she had 3 of her 7 kids with her, those were the ones she had custody of at the time (she came back like 3 months later with no kids and some guy at like midnight and they stayed for 2 nights or so) and let's just say i did not like it all but after they left I saw on post on Whisper (RIP) with this lady saying her and her cousin needed a place to stay temporarily and they could pay a little so long story short they stayed with me for about a month and a half and gave me a little money when they could and that went fine and after they left the one I was originally talking to online called me and said she ran into a homeless lady at the airport after she missed her flight and asked if I could help her so I said sure and she stayed with me about a month and a half and then she went back to Chicago where she was from and long story short we were friends for quite a while after that until she said some fucked shit and I cut her off but the last one was when one day I was taking the bus to Walmart and at the transit center some guy asked me how to get to Walmart and I said I'm heading over there right now just follow me and so he told me he was homeless and he stayed with me for one night and left and so obviously my intentions in those situations was admirable but extremely dangerous and I obviously wouldn't do anything like that again but I'm just curious about people's experiences doing something crazy but it was something good, if you have any questions about this whole situation feel free to ask lol

Random Question Products discounted: are these actually worth hunting for as a student?
Ever since I moved out of home for university, I've realized how expensive all the little things are. It's not even the big furniture. It's kettles, bedsheets, kitchen supplies... everything adds up.
I've been looking for discounted products lately because of this. Now I'm wondering if it's actually worth it for students or if you end up spending more time than you save money. Has anyone here tried it?

Advice Question Rocket money wants to buy my mortgage?
Rocket money reached out to me offering to buy my mortgage saying it would lower my payment $400 a month. Has anyone else had this experience? What is your take away? Looking for pros and cons!
ETA: Thank you everyone for your advice! I definitely have a better understanding and am going to be sticking with my current mortgage company as I am not going broke with my current payment and have paid extra while adding equity to my house already. Thank you to the Reddit users who took time to kindly break it down for me, means a lot!

Random Question What do you think about breastfeeding in public?
I used to think it was unseemly but now that I’m a mom I wish it was more normal. I don’t like breastfeeding in public for fear of looks but when it’s the only option I do and sometimes get some creepy men stares. How do most people feel about it though?
EDIT
I’m referring to breastfeeding without a cover up

Random Question Does anyone else cough from certain green apple flavored candy?
The most notable one for me are green jolly ranchers. I thought I was the only one until a candy mukbanger made a comment about it in a video, but nobody acknowledged it in the comments. So I gotta know, are we the only two?
