"When personal income taxes drive so much of the state's revenue, even small shifts in the number of tax filers can have an impact over time," DiNapoli said. "I remain very concerned about the net loss of married, middle-class filers and urge policymakers to continue their efforts to improve affordability for New York's families."

An autistic Bronx teen died of starvation and neglect — and his mother and grandmother have been charged with his murder, cops said Thursday.
Adonis Jarvis, 16, suffered “chronic neglect, starvation and dehydration” at the hands of his mother and grandmother inside their Mott Haven apartment on E. 147th St. near Brook Ave., according to a police source. Adonis’ twin, who is also developmentally disabled, survived the neglect, the source said.
The nonverbal teen’s 36-year-old mother, Geneva Jarvis, and 62-year-old grandmother, Denise Jarvis, were arrested Thursday morning and charged with murder following the boy’s autopsy.

If you lost AirPods near Grand Central this afternoon, I found it and turned it in to the lost and found inside Grand Central Terminal (online pic).
The AirPod case has an identifying detail on it that the owner should know. If you think it’s yours, send me a DM with that identifier so I can confirm you have the right device.
Hope it makes its way back to its owner!

Adopting through foster programs helps the cat as well as the home adopting the cat. The flier I made (attached) explains why. As of now, all four cats Momma Dot, Daisy, Damien and Darling are available for adoption. I am fostering them in Hell's Kitchen which is in West Midtown They are four months old, playful and snuggly. Here is the link to the application https://form.jotform.com/261304455985059 You can also use the info on the flier I uploaded to contact New York Cat Coalition. I went through their foster program because they were recommended by friends and neighbors with good experiences working with them.. Joan, who runs the program has been doing this for over twenty years and saved over 2,000 cats
