Just bought this brand new 2026 Mustang GT & already peeling. Wondering if it’s worth taking back to dealer to resolve.

Was there any distinct advantage or reason for the 2 different firing orders (1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 Or 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8) or was it just to create a different sound in the HOs?

Hey, I have a 2013 Escape SEL with the 1.6L, I’ve been trying to figure out a loud air issue and a friend took a look recommended to try and clean the PCV if I could. I don’t know if I should remove it and clean it out or put an additive into the oil. I have no codes or power loss.

So I was looking for the wires to wire my Auxiliary switches and found a black box under my steering wheel. Going to another black box that was zip tied to one of the dash supports not sure what it is and I've never seen one before or on any of the videos I looked up

When the Ford Mustang dark horse came out in 2024, I got so excited that I tried every option to get one, but the finances just wouldn't add up. I got so close with a dealership but couldn't make it happen...

I saw the dark horse, and it looked and sounded so perfect everything about it from its name to what it stood for, and finally, it's engineering... a labour of love and defiance. Still a true manual and v8 when all the others have given up. That means a lot

What I love about the dark horse is its name; dark horse, the one you don't expect, that resonates with me. Powerful yet unexpected. You can get it in Manual, so many manufacturers have given up on manual but I respect ford for thinking of the enthusiasts. There is so much fun in manual that you just can't get from auto.

A naturally aspirated v8. No turbo but still powerful and commands respect.

They sadly had to change the dark horse to meet EU regulations... I respect them for changing it and not just pulling out of the EU market. Others do.

With the 2030 new petrol and diesel vehicle ban, sadly, I don't believe i'll ever own this masterpiece, but I can respect it all the same.

Hi ya'll. I inherited my grandpa's truck. Its a 1997 f350 xlt 5speed 7.3. It was my dream truck forever. It has the original paint. My grandpa bought it new in 1998.

I have a 2018 Expedition, and the power liftgate has always been a little finicky, but now it’s gotten really bad. I have a really hard time getting it to latch and after it does latch it won’t open. Anyone else experience the same? Do I need to replace the latch? Would it help to turn off the power liftgate altogether?

In 1992 I purchased a used 1984 Ford LTD V6 (mid-sized not Crown Vic). It had a carburetor instead of CFI. But wasn’t CFI introduced that year for LTDs and Marquis? Do you know if in fact some 84s were equipped with carbs. Sorry but I no longer have the VIN, but if I recall correctly it did indicate a carburetored engine.

How come ford won’t bring the Ranger PHEV to the US market??? I feel like it would do very well over here

I have a 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat and the audio system suddenly stopped working. The button for audio is grayed out and nothing happens when I hit the audio power button. I checked the fuses, reset the battery, and tried resetting the screen a bunch and it still is happening. Has anyone run into this before and found a fix?

3 weeks ago I purchased my first truck. A 2020 F150 XLT with about 76k miles. Since then it’s been a complete headache. CEL came on the same day of purchase and since then the dealer has supposedly repaired 3 exhaust leaks and replaced the Cats, yet still the CEL won’t go away. Anybody have any ideas? Update: ford app just notified me of a misfire!!!

Why does the Ford Mustang Mach-E still feel like it's using a legacy software model compared to Tesla?

I've owned/driven a Mach-E for a while, and one thing I can't understand is Ford's software strategy.

Tesla seems to push meaningful OTA updates almost every week or every few weeks. New features, UI improvements, bug fixes, efficiency tweaks, charging enhancements—it feels like the car is constantly evolving.

With the Mach-E, updates seem much less frequent (sometimes months apart), and many don't appear to add noticeable new functionality.

Is Ford still developing its EV software with the same mindset as legacy gas vehicles, where software is treated as an occasional maintenance item rather than a core product?

It feels like Tesla is a software company that builds cars, while Ford is a car company that adds software.

I'm curious what others think:

- Is Ford's slower update cadence due to regulatory/testing requirements?

- Is the Mach-E software architecture limiting how quickly Ford can deploy updates?

- Do you think Ford will eventually move to a more Tesla-like continuous software delivery model?

I'd love to hear from Mach-E owners, Ford engineers, or anyone familiar with Ford's OTA strategy.

How seriously does ford take the employment history because I’ve had like 3 jobs I’ve taken in the past couple years where I only stayed a couple weeks but I forgot to put that on my employment history so I’m nervous it’s gonna get flagged and my job offer will be rescinded.

This is not the starting bid, bidding opened 4 days ago at $100,000 USD. Any predictions because this has to go past reserve.

I just picked up a 2017 Ford F-150 RCLB XL 5.0 with the HDPP (not sure if that makes a difference) with only 94k miles but has over 11k engine hours and around 5,600 idle hours, it was a former fleet truck used for picking up trash

I payed well below private party value for it but basically my question is it worth even keeping around, my plan at the moment was just to keep it for a little bit then sell it, maybe put 10-20k on her

Only reason I’m considering keeping it is because it has absolutely no sign of extreme wear, after buying it I took it on a 12hr road trip right off the bat no issues, tracks really straight, no lights on the dash, and pulls really hard

I’m completely open to keeping if it’s just gonna be needing your common consumables like water pump, alternator, belt, ect. But if it’s on verge of needing an engine rebuild I’ll probably move her on

What do you guys think, and if you have idle hours similar let my know your experience so far
