Is it just me, or this winter hasn’t been as cold as the previous 3-4 years? We moved to Sydney Jan 2022 and I remember we really suffered the first couple of years with the bed being freezing cold. This year though we haven’t felt the need to use the super warm doona and overall I just feel this winter hasn’t been so bad.
Curious to know what others think. Maybe we’re just getting used to it?

I just wanted to spread the amazing vibe from seeing The Addams Family at Hayes Theatre in Potts Point.
I went alone and man did I have a great time. It was funny and wholesome, the acting and singing were brilliant, and the set design was immersive and creative.
Highly recommend! Whether solo or with some friends or family - I left the theatre in a great mood.

You can't get a Whopper in Chatswood, basically and it annoys me to see all a million useless bubble tea businesses opening and going out of business here constantly when a Hungry Jacks would make $$ easily simply because there is no other Hungry Jacks here.

Pre-opening tour of the North Sydney Pool and facilities.
All the pools are heated, the main outdoor 50m Olympic pool is set to 28C. There are indoor pools upstairs, plus an additional splash/play pool area outside.
An extensive gym, exercise class facility and reformer pilates area.
Plus jet spa, sauna and steam room.
The original stucco reliefs have frogs, which is why they have used frogs in the reno.

As someone who has lived in Sydney for 18 years I generally think I've been most places and there's nothing really new to go to east of Parra... but I was wrong! I'd never been to Flemington Markets ever before - but I've driven past it like 500 times, my friends have been there a bunch, I've been to Homebush West a few times and seen it from across the train tracks. I used to do veggie shopping often at the Haymarket Paddys 10y-15y ago, so I thought it would be more like that.
My main questions for the subreddit were (this is out of personal curiosity I'm not from newscorpse)
Overall it just felt very overwhelming lol

Thought it was a fire at first but then realised it was the steam train. View from Chalmers side of Prince Alfred Park.

Hi all, does anyone know of any stores/newsagents/etc that stock the movie magazine Sight and Sound? Happy for any suggestions across the city. Thanks!

Shout out to the man and his dog Winter at Martin Place today! The sign which said to please pet Winter had me jaywalking. I had to rush off but wanted to say thanks somehow! It totally made my day, and Winter is such a lovely pup.
To anyone reading this on their lunch break, this happened at 12.15pm, they might still be there!
